<p>Boatwain is our luxurious, second-floor, one-bedroom apartment, and one of seven bespoke sea-view accommodation options available at The Boat House. Based in the resort town’s North Bay, this apartment is a newly renovated, Grade II listed Georgian building in the heart of a beautiful, vibrant bay with stunning sea views.</p>

<p>Boatswain offers luxurious and spacious accommodation with incredible views of the open sea. Enter through the grand entrance hall and feel at home in the chandelier-lit lounge with its high Georgian ceilings.</p>
<p>Boatswain is a beautifully designed elegant space that pays homage to the magnificent sea view. A full-scale black and white wall mural of Scarborough Harbour stretches across the back wall, bringing the sea from the window view into the room.</p>
<p>Our kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities for a home-from-home experience for those who want to cook or simply relax and take in the views with a coffee. The breakfast bar with pop-up sockets offers the perfect place for a little laptop time while taking in the panoramic views. No matter where you are in the lounge-diner, the views are breath-taking - whether seated in the bay window at the marble dining table or on the Chesterfield sofa, bar stool or antique chair.</p>
<p>Boatswain's lounge-diner is furnished with marble tables, electric log burners, Chesterfield sofas, and velvet lion knocker chairs. The bedroom has a sumptuous mattress and Hungarian goose down duvets, gorgeous bed linen, fluffy towels and beautifully appointed modern ensuite bathroom with rainfall showers so you can live in high-end luxury during your stay.</p>
<p>We also provide toiletries and laundry materials, a hairdryer, iron and board, washing machine/dryer, as well as WiFi and central heating in lovely cast iron radiators – in fact, everything you need for a comfortable and fulfilling holiday.</p>

Absolutely superb!! the whole apartment was wonderful including rhe view!! one of the nicest places we've ever stayed and we go away a lot!! ....would only come back to scarbrough if we could book back into this beautiful place!! .convenient for centre of town or the open air theatre location

Absolutely Wonderful

We stayed on a bank holiday and it was honestly one of the most beautiful and comfortable places we have stayed. The bed was so comfortable and we slept amazing! The location is so easy to find and was right near everything which made it so easy to go to places. Parking was perfect and meant we didn’t have to worry about parking and could just leave the car and go and explore.The hosts were so friendly and easy to contact however we didn’t have an any problems while staying which made our trip even better. The apartment was spotless and designed beautifully but the view from the living room made it even better as we could see the castle and beach. We would definitely recommend booking here!

Amazing Nights Sleep

An amazing find, stunning apartment attention to detail shows through the effort that went into the restoration of the building has true grand designs / restoration man story to it. The views are amazing of the bay with the location easy to get into town the train station and beach. It was nice to meet Debbie and Andy who were visiting the other apartments and are a really nice couple. The amenities and interior design of the apartment and building are all in keeping with the building.

What a lovely place! Everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing break with breath taking views! Although our booking was last minute Debbie provided all the information we needed quickly and we felt relaxed from the minute we arrived. It definitely won’t be our last visit to The Boat House.

What A Lovely Place

Had a fab weekend in boatswain (The boat house) the apartment is spotless with all modern facilities. The bedding, mattress etc were very comfortable. The views are spectacular.Handy location to visit either side of scarborough and only a few minutes walk to the castle.Fantastic, very responsive host.We will definitely be back😊.
