Featherstone Estate is on the north coast of Cayman Brac, just a 15 minute drive from the airport. Comprising of 3 separate units on 1.2 acres with a beautiful private beach this is the perfect place to get away from it all.
The Cottage is nestled amongst the palm trees, next to the main house. On the ground floor you will find an open plan living room with dining area, sofa bed and fully appointed kitchen. Upstairs is a very generous bedroom with king-size bed and bathroom with shower/bath. From the bedroom you can access the deck which has sun loungers, table and chair. The Cottage sleeps 4.
The Cottage shares a huge, pristine private beach with the other 2 units (The Upstairs Apartment and The Downstairs Apartment - both in the main house). You will find a pool, sun loungers, chairs, hammocks, a fire pit (and wood) and a BBQ area. There is a dock to make getting in and out of the sea easy. In addition there is a large selection of board games and books as well as snorkel and fishing equipment, and croquet/volleyball/badminton gear. There is ping pong, kayaks, SUP and a selection of bikes to use. Finally there is a laundry room with washer and dryer.
There is everything you need for a secluded get-away in paradise.

Featherstone - The Cottage

We needed a short break to be both relaxing and stimulating. The Cottage is well equipped for all you would need should you decide to cook your own meals. The private beach with its own dock is great for snorkelling and kayaking or just to lounge in the hammocks to watch the glorious sunsets. Much fun was had playing table tennis. Will definitely be back to enjoy this wonderful place. Coralie is a superb host - very responsive both before and after stay.

Battery Recharge Break

My husband and I live on Cayman Brac, however we were looking for a local and affordable staycation to welcome my in-laws to our wonderful little island. We've known Coralie since she moved to the Brac full-time last year and have been looking forward to staying at Featherstone since she acquired it - it did not disappoint!

The cottage is perfect for a couple or for two close couples who don't mind sharing a bathroom. It is fully stocked with everything you need to cook full meals, enjoying inside or outside - and if you feel it is lacking in any way, Coralie is happy to offer anything additional you may need (we needed some extra bedding, towels, and beach towels and she was super responsive and helpful). The property is also GORGEOUS - we found ourselves out on the beach most afternoons to watch sunset with a glass of wine, which turned into watching for satellites with the low amount of light pollution and the big open sky above. We also truly enjoyed the quiet hammock areas right on the beach where each of us fell asleep after lunch with a book in the breeze, just perfect for relaxing and enjoying.

Seeing as it was low season, Coralie also gave us a steal of a deal for the end of summer - without which we would not have been able to accommodate our family for a full 10 days. We are very grateful to her for her understanding, hospitality, and cayman kindness. Thank you Coralie!

The Cottage: A gorgeous property with a lovely host

We had a nice 4 night stay in the Cottage at Featherstone as a way to extend our Cayman Brac vacation by a few extra days. With a rental car, the location was reasonably central as everything on the island was at most ~15min away (often less). The host was very nice and great to chat with. I would stay here again if I come back to Cayman Brac.

Quiet, comfortable, convenient location

What a wonderful place to relax and decompress!
The private beach with BBQ and bonfire area was incredible and we really enjoyed spending our time there.
I would recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic experience.
