This upstairs beach front apartment at Featherstone is incredible. Beautifully furnished and with access to the most stunning private beach in the Brac.
Featherstone Estate is on the north coast of Cayman Brac, just a 15 minute drive from the airport. Comprising of 3 separate units on 1.2 acres with a beautiful private beach this is the perfect place to get away from it all. 
 
This Apartment is upstairs in the main building and has a large open plan living room with dining table, seating area and fully appointed kitchen. One of the sofas converts into a full size bed. The master bedroom has a queen bed and huge bathroom with double vanities, a bath for two, a huge walk-in shower, toilet and bidet. The second bedroom is across the balcony and has a full bed with twin trundle. This room has a brand new shower room with rain shower, toilet and vanity. A baby monitor is available on request. There is a full wrap around deck with dining table and hammock. This Apartment sleeps 7. 
 
The Apartment shares a huge, pristine private beach & pool with the other 2 units (The Downstairs Apartment and The Cottage). You will find sun loungers, chairs, hammocks, a fire pit (and wood) and a BBQ area. There is a dock to make getting in and out of the sea easy. In addition there are books and board games and books as well as snorkel and fishing equipment, croquet and volleyball/badminton gear. There is ping pong, kayaks, SUP and a selection of bikes to use. Finally there is a laundry room with washer and dryer. 
 
There is everything you need for a perfect secluded get-away in paradise.

Featherstone - Upstairs Beach Front Apartment

My family recently stayed at the upstairs apartment at Featherstone and absolutely fell in love. The apartment was cute and roomy, with the most gorgeous of the ocean you will ever see, visible from the living and primary rooms. The deck wraps around the entire upper floor and there is ample seating, and my favorite comfy hammock, again with that view!

We used the pool, the hammocks in the cabana by the beach, paddleboard, kayaks AND water shoes that Coralie had stocked in the shed. Those shoes really came in handy, as the shore is pretty rocky, but the dock gets you out there just enough to comfortably put a kayak or board in the water. Snorkeling was amazing and we even saw a ray and an octopus off the dock. 

As a heads up, the second bedroom is detached, which is great for privacy but my kids preferred the bed couch in the living room. Everyone was still very comfortable and happy. 

Last thing, it was SO NICE having a kitchen stocked with everything you might need including a French press and hot water pot for your caffeine needs and wine openers and glasses for that evening wind down time.

The only problem with Featherstone was having to leave. We can’t wait to come back again someday soon!
