Neighborhood
Your dock sits on an ocean-side canal in Key Colony Beach, with ocean and backcountry fishing within minutes of leaving the canal. Guests call the area quiet, peaceful and good for families. Sunset Beach is a 6-min walk, and the Cabana Club (private beach, pool, whirlpool, tiki bar) about a 10-min walk. Marathon shops and restaurants are 5 min by car and Sombrero Beach 10 min. Getting around
A car makes it easy: Marathon shops, restaurants and airport are 5 min away, Key West 1 hr 10 min and Miami International about 2 hr 15 min. Sunset Beach (6 min) and the Cabana Club (about 10 min) are walkable. Guests have rented boats from a Key Colony marina and run them to the dock.

*Seasonal Seaweed Notice: Like much of the Florida Keys, our canal can experience seaweed at certain times of the year. On the ocean side, this usually happens in summer/fall while gulf-side canals see it more in winter/spring. It’s a natural part of the area and may affect the canal during your stay.
