⚓ Boat Dock Information – Please Read Before Booking This home is located on Vaca Cut, one of the fastest-moving tidal channels in the Florida Keys. Currents can be strong and may change direction with the tides. Due to these conditions, this dock is recommended for experienced boaters only. To safely use the dock, boats should be equipped with: * A minimum of three cleats on each side of the vessel * At least four dock lines (bow, stern, and spring lines) * Proper fenders/bumpers to protect the vessel Guests are responsible for ensuring their boat and docking equipment are suitable for these conditions. Inexperienced operators or boats without adequate tie-off points may find docking difficult, especially during periods of stronger current. If you are unfamiliar with boating in strong tidal currents, we recommend making alternate docking arrangements or contacting us before booking with any questions.
