Chalet Le Lièvre Blanc is a private chalet located in a small chalet development situated on the sunny side of Morzine with magnificent views overlooking the town, across to the Pleney ski slopes and the surrounding mountain peaks. Add to this, a private outside hot tub, indoor sauna, cosy log burner and sunny terraces, this modern chalet has every alpine amenity to create an indulgent holiday. In summer season there's also a heated pool (shared with the other chalets in the development, and is unsupervised). The swimming pool is on the same level as the front door of the apartment, no more than 30m from the door (but is not overlooked by the chalet).
The chalet is spread over 3 floors, thus offering spacious living and sleeping accommodation. The front door opens into an airy, open plan kitchen and living room, with large dining table and plenty of soft seating to seat 8 comfortably. The south-westerly aspect of this room, allows the sun to flood in, and French doors open onto a balcony with outdoor seating to enjoy al fresco meals, and a Weber Barbeque. It has 4 bedrooms, all of which can be made up as king beds or twins, with 3 bathrooms, 2 of which are ensuite.
The first bedroom occupies the upper floor of the chalet, with small ensuite shower and WC. The other 3 bedrooms are located on the ground floor. One is the master bedroom with ensuite bath/shower. Two further bedrooms share a third shower room and WC. All these bedrooms have built-in cupboards, allowing for luggage storage and each has double French doors out to the terrace, and direct access to the 7 seater hot tub – the perfect place to enjoy après aperitifs watching the returning skiers and weekly Pleney fireworks. (See the section below "Getting around" for details of the shuttle bus service and evening taxis).
N.B. the hot tub is available for use during the ski season (Dec-Apr) and the summer season (mid-June to mid-Sept) only. If you want to stay outside of this period and you wish to have use of the hot tub there is a charge of €150 which covers the cost of having it filled and heated, and the regular checking.
If you are a group of more than 8 people, you may be interested in our Plein Sud apartments, which are situated next-door-but-one, and can sleep between 2 and 4 extra people, and run on the same changeover dates as Lievre Blanc. See Plein Sud 7 and 8 on our list of properties.
All our properties are selected for their features and location, to provide you with the best possible amenities with which to enjoy your holidays. Chalet Le Lièvre Blanc is sold as a self-catered chalet and is very well-equipped. It includes:
At a glance: • Outside Hot Tub (see description for opening period) • Sauna • Log Burner plus wood • Balcony and outside terrace • Covered parking • Ski locker • Top-loading washing machine • Fully equipped kitchen • Microwave • Dishwasher • Fridge • Filter coffee machine . Nespresso . Raclette machine. TV with French /Satellite UK channels and apple TV • DVD • Egyptian cotton linen and Towels • Hairdryers • Cot/High Chair • Fluffy bathrobes • Use of shared swimming pool (summer only, mid June to Mid-Sept)
It takes 15 minutes' walk (1200m) down to town, 20 mins to walk back up. During the winter season there is a free local bus which stops in front of the chalet every 40 min from 8am to 7pm (with a break 12.00 - 14.00) and takes 10 minutes to get to the Pleney slopes. and stops outside the entrance, and drops off on the Avenue de Joux Plane opposite the Bouchard draglift on the Pleney. The same free service leaves the Avenue de Joux Plane every 40 min up to 7pm. The service operates from Christmas week to the end of the first week in April. It's absolutely worth staying uphill a bit for the amazing views! It's also easy to organise a minibus taxi to take you into town or back again in the evening if you don't fancy the walk! There are numbers in the back of our information book on the sideboard in the chalet. WHAT'S INCLUDED: Winter ski season (Dec 10 - April 21): bedlinen, towels and end of stay cleaning are included. The Rest of the year: (April 21 - Dec 9): bedlinen and towels are included. End of stay cleaning is payable locally and costs €120.
IMPORTANT: DAMAGE DEPOSIT. We take a €300 Damage Deposit prior to your arrival. This can be paid via credit / debit card or bank transfer (Revolut preferred). We refund this deposit within 3 days of your departure. It is also possible to pay by French cheque. Full or part-catered service: we work with several highly recommended freelance caterers who can provide a combination of breakfasts, afternoon tea, daily cleaning, children's suppers and adults 3 or 4 course dinner with or without wine included, and also a dinner delivery service.

Lievre Blanc, chalet with hot tub and panoramic views!

Geweldig Chalet, prima voorzieningen en zeer goede host.

Fantastic villa in a great location with a car. Thank you.
We were lucky with the weather, but Morzine in summer is an amazing family holiday destination.

Fantastic Villa in a great location with a car

We had a great stay at the chalet! Extremely well equipped for cooking and relaxing. Would highly recommend the organised transfer to the chalet from the airport, could not fault it. Having a grocery shop done for us on arrival was a lifesaver!! We also were able to get Ubers back up to the chalet after the local buses had stopped which was useful and convenient.

A great stay at the chalet!

I would definitely recommend, the space and amenities were excellent. Hot tub and sauna were a bonus, we were a group of 8 single people and the bedrooms could be made up for single beds or doubles. Rachael was an excellent hostess she kindly answered all my questions in advance with a quick response which was really helpful. The bus stop is just outside which takes you into the town centre if needed.

I would definitely recommend.

Fabulous place to stay, the only think to be mindful of is that the bus service does not run past the accommodation in the summer months but being a bit further out of town and up the hill means that the view and sunsets are stunning.

Fabulous place to stay
