Glacier View Log Cabin

Really nice cabin with big windows across the front showing off beautiful views of Matanuska glacier. And the goats! So cute and entertaining! There is a great booklet the host has put together with info on the cabin (it’s interesting history), and local hiking/excursions and dining places well stocked with everything you’d in the kitchen and bath. Clean.

Great Place!

This cabin is definitely a favorite stay! Stunning views and the cabin itself has impressive craftsmanship- enjoyed learning the history - and is very cozy and accommodating. Appreciated the information and recommendations Jennifer provided in the guidebook and the location is perfect for an overnight (although you’ll wish you could’ve stayed longer) or as a base camp for the many “adventures” and sightseeing nearby.

Stunning views and impressive craftmanship

The cabin was awesome. I had never stayed anywhere that was heated by a woodstove.  It was very simple to use, and they left great, detailed instructions. The views were amazing. The goats were fun. Yes, they will make a little noise and will use the bathroom in the driveway.  It's not a big deal though. It was funny, not annoying.  The cabin is very comfortable, and there is plenty of room.  It was also well-stocked. We use the grill, and they had nice grilling utensils there (something owners often forget) Falling asleep to the wood crackling in the stove was perfect. I would definitely stay here again. 

Amazing views and a cool experience

Jennifer was very responsive to questions and recommendations.  Her cabin is perfectly situated for viewing the glacier!  The cabin was very well stocked with everything you might need, and the goats were delightful (especially the baby).  If we had known how peaceful and lovely this place was, we would have reworked our schedule to stay longer.  I highly recommend Jennifer's log cabin!

Wish we would've stayed longer

This was our favorite cabin on our Alaskan honeymoon road trip! The view of the glacier was spectacular! Plus, the cabin was cozy with its decor and the wood burning fireplace. We enjoyed reading about the cabin’s story too. The goat on the property was added entertainment! Jennifer was such a great host and provided everything we could possibly need!
