The Tuskeegee Retreat at Carpenter Cabins puts you in the heart of Western North Carolina's mountain country, with outdoor adventure and small-town charm in every direction. You're a short drive from the Nantahala and Cheoah Rivers, known for whitewater rafting, kayaking, and fishing, and from trailheads on the Appalachian Trail.
Nearby, Fontana Dam offers boat access across Fontana Lake into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. In Bryson City, you can ride the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad through the river gorges. Robbinsville is your gateway to the Cherohala Skyway, one of the most scenic drives in the Southeast. And Cherokee is home to the Museum of the Cherokee People, Oconaluftee Indian Village, and Harrah's Cherokee Casino.
After a day on the water, the trail, or the open road, come back to a comfortable two-bedroom, two-bath home with plenty of room to relax.
