Sometimes you don't need a holiday, you need somewhere to breathe. A private escape to the wild edge of Golden Bay; beautifully hosted, locally nourished and deliberately unhurried.
Arrive with nothing on your to-do list so you can simply soak in the view and watch the last light disappear over the Tasman Sea. An evening of conversation beside a cozy fire, glass of wine in hand and a sky full of stars.
No alarm. No decisions. No timetable. No rushing.
The Golden Bay Slow Escape is a beautiful way to experience one of Aotearoa’s most extraordinary places. Instead of rushing from one attraction to the next, you have time to settle in, breathe deeply and let the landscape set the pace. Stay in eco-luxury comfort. Wake to birdsong. Wander wild beaches and quiet tracks. Let us take care of the driving, the details and the logistics, so you can simply be here.
Why book the Slow Escape?
Because sometimes the most memorable journey is the one where you do less. Because there are places you shouldn't rush through. Because sharing a beautiful landscape with someone you love is better when you have nowhere else you need to be.
The Slow Escape gives you the rare luxury of time: time to notice the light changing across the hills, linger over a meal, walk barefoot on the beach, have an uninterrupted conversation, or simply sit quietly and listen. We make it effortless to experience Golden Bay, slowly.
