Sleeping arrangements include an upstairs space with&nbsp;1 king bed and&nbsp;1 mini crib. In a separate bedroom on the first floor,&nbsp;1 trundle bed that can be used as up to 2 twins or converted to be 1 king. In addition to the entire building, guests also benefit from on-site amenities. The property is steeped in history and&nbsp;includes 72 acres of&nbsp;expansive&nbsp;nature trails, wildlife viewing opportunities,&nbsp;a meadow, Neenah Creek access, and complimentary kayak use. All of this&nbsp;while still being conveniently located near major destinations: 20 minutes to Wisconsin Dells, 15 minutes from Historic Portage, 25 minutes to Devil’s Lake State Park, 30 minutes from Devil's Head,&nbsp;and 45 minutes to Madison. Please note this rental has a one night minimum Thursday-Sunday and a two night minimum Friday-Saturday.</p>

Log House: Historic Charm, Modern Comfort on 72 Acres+ Water

We had such a lovely stay at this house! Kate was such a welcome host who took the time to show us around the historic buildings on the property and answer all our questions. She even tracked down some local eggs for me! Lovely walks and stargazing out on the Meadow, and her family was so sweet and friendly. A hidden gem for sure!
