Kihachikan South is a private luxury chalet in Nozawa Onsen, designed for smaller groups seeking refined comfort in the heart of the village. Sleeping up to five guests, it is intimate by design.
Shoji screens, bespoke oak cabinetry, and warm natural timber finishes create a calm, understated atmosphere throughout. Japanese design and Western comfort sit quietly side by side.
The bathroom features a deep stone-framed bathtub with an integrated shower, along with a second separate shower, offering added convenience and a restful space to unwind after a day on the mountain.

Kihachikan South

We booked Kihachikan at the last minute because previous accommodation arrangements didn't work out. This place was exactly what we wanted. Robin was a wonderful, helpful host. You will feel spoiled from the moment you walk in. High end fixtures and decor. Spacious rooms and comfortable furniture. I loved the collection of framed maps that Robin has on display from his travels in Asia. It's a short walk to the ski chalet or the shops in town. I would happily spend another week here.

Tasteful luxury!
