Birch at Lake Bluff Preserve-Lake Michigan Views

We recently had our wedding at Lake Bluff Preserve and truly could not have imagined a more beautiful place to celebrate such a special day. The views of Lake Michigan are absolutely breathtaking, and the entire property feels peaceful, private, and incredibly well cared for.

From the moment we arrived, everything felt magical. The natural beauty of the preserve created the perfect backdrop for both our ceremony and photos, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how stunning the venue was.

If you are looking for a wedding venue in Northern Michigan that feels elegant, intimate, and unforgettable, I cannot recommend Lake Bluff Preserve enough. Our wedding felt like a fairy tale!

Wedding

I invited 12+ friends and family, some who had never been to Michigan before, to join me in Frankfort for several days this summer. It was a special occasion and therefore very important to me that we all be under the same roof and there be views of the lake. Birch was a perfect house to rent. It exceeded all my expectations. It was simultaneously spacious and intimate, quiet, with breathtaking views of Lake Michigan. My guests loved congregating in the main floor gathering space, the wraparound deck, and the viewing platform. Every night we marveled at the amazing sunsets and night sky where The Milky Way and constellations. were visible on most nights. The property managers were very nice, responsive to all my questions, and so helpful- especially when a storm rolled through unexpectedly while we were away from the property. I would highly recommend staying at Lake Bluff Preserve!

Amazing

We had our wedding in May and rented out the Birch house. What a great experience it was and the perfect location for a small family wedding! We had our dogs up there and they absolutely love running around and chasing the kids through the trails. Nancy and her team are amazing to work with and made everything super easy for us. My husband and I can’t wait for us to plan anniversary trip up there in the future!

Amazing Wedding Venue

Lake Bluff Preserve is unbelievably beautiful! And having all of our family and friends staying together in the same place was so fun. The houses were immaculate and everyone had a lovely stay. Before we left we were already making plans to come back for a family reunion. I honestly can't imagine a better wedding venue.

Amazing wedding weekend!

It’s hard to put into words just how amazing this location is! We were fortunate enough to stay at Lake Bluff to celebrate our intimate wedding in May of 2024 and our experience was incredible. The staff was so kind and the homes were clean, well stocked, and perfect for a family vacation. We were able to host our family at a beautiful location without worrying about incredulous costs. It’s close to downtown AND has the privacy/intimacy we were looking for. We have already made plans to return to Lake Bluff next year. Everyone from the toddlers to the grandparents loved their stay! Thank you, Lake Bluff!

Best family vacation we have ever had!
