Villa Twelve27

I hosted a Writing Retreat here in August for several participants. This place is truly a slice of heaven on earth! The staff was absolutely AMAZING!! Ana, the villa Concierge was extremely professional and responsive, Tanya kept our rooms and towels clean and fresh daily, Jesus watched over our safety nightly with a smile, Saul was the best driver anyone could ask for, and words can't express how delicious the food was. Chef Adan with the help of Mario, cooked for us with perfection. Never have I enjoyed such superb cuisine. My guests were amazed at the beauty of this place and the friendliness of the Sosúa people. WE WILL BE BACK SOON!!!

Trip Advisor Review

First time in the DR and will definitely return only to stay here at Villa Twelve 27! There were 8 in our party and each of us received 1st class service the entire stay. From the pick up at the airport. Every meal was more delicious than the previous one! The Chef is ahhhh-mazing! Safety was not an issue because we had our own guard on the gated premises. The villa is so close to everything but secluded enough you were always in paradise. We most definitely made the right choice to stay here. We saw and visited a large resort to drop members of our party that opted to stay another week. Let me just say this if there was a because I couldn't see it for the massive buildings too many roads and a ridiculous amount of golf carts. You can have the big resorts with mass produced food. I will choose Villa Twelve 27 hands down over and over again. We are already making plans to return next year and I am excited!!! Stay where you will say what you may but you will not have a single regret staying here!

Kudos to Villa Twelve 27....I just returned home to Washington DC from a 1 week stay at Twelve 27. I would be remissed to not share feed back on my stay. I am a frequent traveler to island getaways across the globe. I've found a lot of commonalities as I peruse foreign islands...
They all have beautiful beaches and great food however the accommodations and property management have proven to be a challenge in several privately owned properties that I've visited. That being said.... I have assigned a 5 Star rating to Twelve 27 because they have clearly mastered the formula to customer service.
1. The private chef was phenomenal (custom made to order meals daily...grilled Red Snapper is a must try)
2. The water for bathing did not leave me dry and itchy (the maintenance man Mr Jose showed me some sort of a 3 stage water filtration system.. I don't know much about water filters.. but the gizmo works!!)
3. Water pressure was constant and had No delays
4. On site security stood tall and patrolled while we slept
5. Power went out one night but re-energized in minutes(apparently they have a generator the size of car hidden on the property)
6. I had to speak with someone regarding my shower not being as hot as I needed. The result was a new hot water heater fully installed by the time I woke up the next day.
Final words..... I am a tough critique however, I will give credit where credit is due.
Thanks for an outstanding experience. The professional standards set by the owners did not go unnoticed. All the best.......

My family had the best time ever. Many of the older members had never been out of the country. They trusted me in selecting Villa Twelve 27. We enjoyed the spacious rooms and the other amenities offered. Our children enjoyed being near the beach and being able to access the Internet and nearby family attractions. The accommodations were well within our budget. We plan to take our next vacation back to the Dominican Republic again and we will stay at Villa Twelve 27.

The pictures for this house do the property no justice at all. Truly an amazing place to stay for a vacation getaway. If you are traveling with a large group, no need to look anywhere else other than this Villa. One of the best homes I have stayed in. The staff was truly amazing and worked hard to make your stay relaxing. The villa is conveniently located in the heart of the town, with quick access to restaurants and the beach. Oh and not to mention having an excellent private driver and chef on hand throughout my stay. I truly cant wait to visit again. Villa Twelve 27 for the Win!!!!!!
