Blue Heron- Bright 2 Bedroom Cottage

We have visited Lehewa for four summers in a row and each time is a beautiful experience. The blue heron cottage is perfect for our family of four and comes with everything you need for the perfect getaway. The cottage is fully equipped, all you need to bring is food and clothes. We enjoyed kayaking and jumping off the dock for a swim as well as quiet mornings with a coffee on the deck enjoy the lake view and peaceful sounds of nature. We'll be back next summer!

Yearly Tradition

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Lehlewa Lakeside Retreat in the Blue heron Cottage. It was our second time at this cottage. The atmosphere was beautiful and so peaceful. We felt completely relaxed and loved the view of the lake from our cottage.
Chris the owner was very welcoming, helpful and great to chat with. His dog Poppy was such a delight and had a great time playing with our dog Cabo.
It's great we didn't have to back much only our food, clothes, sunscreen and bug spray as the cottage is stocked with all the amenities and supplies we needed. Cottage was very spacious, comfortable with great quality of furniture and supplies.
We can't recommend this place enough and we can't wait to come back!!
Thanks Chris and Poppy for another wonderful stay!!

Beautiful and Relaxing Cottage and Retreat!!

We had a fantastic stay at this cottage with our two young kids. It had everything we needed — spa, sauna, TV, internet, beach access, kayaks, paddle boards, a great deck with chairs, and a cozy fireplace. The interior is a perfect mix of rustic and modern, beautifully decorated and very comfortable.

Everything was provided: kitchen essentials, BBQ, towels, shampoo, etc. The owner was very friendly and even welcomed us with fresh pastries — such a thoughtful touch!

Highly recommend for a relaxing family or couple getaway.

Beautiful Cottage with Everything You Need

We had a beautiful and restorative stay at the Blue Heron Cottage. The setting is peaceful and secluded, with stunning lake views and access to walking trails and nature just steps from the door. The cottage itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped—perfect for quiet mornings, reflection, and time spent reconnecting with nature.

The Lehlewa property is clearly cared for with intention and love, and you can feel it the moment you arrive. It was the ideal place to unplug, slow down, and breathe deeply. We left feeling grounded and grateful.

Highly recommend for anyone seeking a tranquil retreat space or a weekend of quiet renewal.

Beautiful & Relaxing

Merci Chris!

Second stay at the Lehlewa Lakeside Retreat and once again, Christopher's gracious welcome made us feel like guests rather than tourists! Everything is organized so that we can fully enjoy our stay, so that we feel at home; everything is designed in the cottage for our comfort, and in place outside so that we can enjoy the lake and the grounds to really relax... and breathe! Even Poppy makes herself available for an antistress "pet therapy"! Thank you Chris!
