Lissadell on the Sea - Lissadell Estate, Yeats Country

Arrived to a roaring fire, with the sea crashing outside. On an early morning run on the Estate, greeted by Edward letting us know about the fresh tomatoes in the greenhouse and herbs. Also had the pleasure of seeing a family of hares run past as the morning dew was rising. The boys explored the forest, swam in the sea, saw the animals and surfed during the day. At night we shared stories around a firepit as we toasted our marshmallows. We will be back, such an amazing time. We created memories, and were energised and well rested.

This Rental is Paradise

Lissadell on the Sea was the most heavenly accommodation! Our home away from home for 5 glorious days, we couldn't have been happier with our stay. The location was perfect. The house was extremely comfortable, and the views from every window like a painting within themselves. It was a joy to walk on the beach every day as it was literally at the front door. The sounds of the ocean during the night was so soothing. The Lissadell Estate was so luxurious to walk and explore. We were made to feel most welcome. A holiday doesn't get any better than this!

From the location to the finer, classy details within the house, you'll be non stop captivated by all its beauty and glory. Waking up every morning to the beautiful sea literally on your doorstep, will start the day off perfectly. Then acres of land to walk around and take in the history of the location, you will be hooked from the minute you arrive.

In Awe of the Accommodation

The location overlooking the ocean, at the foot of the historic Lissadell House, the family home of the revolutionary Constance Markievicz. Beautiful interiors, fully equipped, comfortable. Perfect for a few days stay or a longer vacation. And splendid area of County Sligo with Ben Bulben in the background. There is a lot to see. We will be back!
