Curl up in the family room or spend the evening around the backyard fire pit. This newly renovated 1920s shotgun home sits less than a block from Magazine Street and steps from Whole Foods in the heart of Uptown. High ceilings, exposed brick, original pocket doors and hardwood floors give the home authentic New Orleans character, while a sunlit reading nook provides a peaceful place to relax. Walk to Audubon Park, Tulane, Loyola and the St. Charles streetcar, or explore the restaurants and shops along Magazine Street.

Uptown Starlet | Near Magazine St. and Tulane

This is an ideal two-bedroom shotgun duplex home if you want a walkable New Orleans vacation away from the more touristy locations near the French Quarter. It was clean and well-updated. Had all the charm you’d want from a classic home with updated amenities. We took advantage of short walks to Saba and Audubon Park. It’s also a stones toss to the Whole Foods. Great spot.

Great location

Our group had the absolute best stay at Margeau's place for Mardi Gras. The home was very well situated and convenient to great restaurants, shops, the parades, etc. Yet still peaceful and residential. Margeau is very communicative and had loads of fantastic recommendations and tips for navigating the busy carnival season. The historic house is beautifully decorated with all the amenities you could need. Beds are super comfortable. We will definitely be back and cannot wait to stay at the home again! Thanks Margeau!

Mardi Gras Marvel

Margeau is the most thoughtful, caring, helpful host who knows everything about New Orleans! Her home is a true gem, from the moment you walk up the steps it feels like perfection. Incredible location, walking distance to so many cute places, and a beautiful neighborhood. The home is gorgeous, warm, welcoming, beautiful decor, so many special, unique touches. It is spotless, incredibly clean and beyond comfortable, the beds are so comfortable, the bathrooms are beautiful, and have absolutely everything one needs. Margeau thought of every little detail needed in every inch of space, we absolutely love this home and the owner is the best, we can’t wait to come back many times!

Perfect, Amazing Home

We had the pleasure of visiting NOLA this past weekend for an event, and I must say, our Airbnb was truly immaculate and beautifully designed. Situated in a vibrant and safe community, it featured a stunning interior with aesthetically pleasing decor. We would absolutely love to return, whether to this property or any of Margeaux's other exceptional locations!
