Villa Ovgoro provides a blend of simplicity and serenity for those seeking an authentic rural Cretan experience while enjoying the indulgences of a private pool, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. Concealed by a stone wall from the narrow lane passing by, the charming gardens unfold behind wooden double gates, revealing a meticulously crafted oasis. Amidst a glimpse of Cretan horticulture, the free-form pool glistens, surrounded by lemon, orange, and pomegranate trees, vibrant bougainvillaea, jasmine, and morning glory cascading over earthenware pots and reclaimed millstones.
Situated just 7 km from the coast and at the outskirts of a quaint hamlet, adjacent to a delightful small farm, the villa offers a picturesque setting with the sights and sounds of grazing goats and sheep adorned with bells. Chickens, turkeys, and even exotic peacocks roam freely amidst olive trees and fields surrounding the villa. This is genuine countryside living amid a patchwork of small villages, each boasting one or more family-run tavernas. The village of Stylos, a mere 1.6 km downhill, features a mini-market for basic provisions and several authentic Cretan tavernas. The sandy beach at Kalives is 7 km away, with waterfront tavernas, and Chania's heart is just a 25-minute drive from this rural haven.

Villa Ovgoro, Provarma, pool, seaview balcony
