This Gorgeous 1940s Quonset Hut was used to store ammunition. With only a handful left in the state and only a few thousand in the entire country, we just had to restore it to its former glory. Featuring 2,600 sq ft of character - from its moody paneled sitting room with a baby grand piano to its domed eat in kitchen with dining table that seats twelve - this property was meant for entertaining. The master bedroom boasts not only an ensuite bathroom but also a lounge seating area. There's even a secret room with bunk beds and a game room. While the cottage comfortably sleeps 8, we do offer a queen air mattress for 2 additional guests upon request. When the weathers nice, take it outside and enjoy the deck, firepit, and new hot tub or play a little ping pong in the game room. Only a quick ride to the beach. Pets must be approved by Moore House prior to booking and will incur a $150 Pet Fee. While we do not allow outside vendors on property, our team would love to plan and oversee an intimate event for you. ALL events must be approved by Moore House PRIOR to booking. The Quonset - Large Unique home 1 mile to beach

The Quonset Hut once again provided a magical setting for our family Christmas. The beautiful arched kitchen/dining room provided a festive backdrop (complete with Christmas tree) for feasts on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.. The kitchen is large and well-equipped and perfect for entertaining. The house is very comfortable and immaculately clean. There were countless thoughtful touches from milk in the fridge and eggs on the counter to high quality soaps and lotions. It is truly a wonderful setting for celebrations and relaxed family gatherings. Highly recommended.

Another wonderful Christmas

Wedding guests

Our friend group of 7 adults - friends since high school - gathered for a week together of great meals, conversation and together time. This was the perfect place. It is a calming, welcoming vibe. The kitchen was great for the gourmet cooks in the group. The long dinner table was awesome for freshly prepared lobster from the nearby store. Sharon was great to work with. We would highly recommend it.

Amazing, relaxing retreat - great for group meals

We had a wonderful stay at the Quonset hut. The house was beautiful, the patio was very enjoyable and the attention to detail was much appreciated. Kitchen was fully stocked so helped with having dinner in. Sharon was very quick to answer her texts and to help with requests. We would absolutely return to the Quonset hut as well as any of the Moore House properties.

Beautiful house

This property and the Moore Team is AWESOME!!! Ive wanted to stay here for years and am so glad we finally booked it - the place is so unique and comfortable! Terrific spot for a family stay - the house itself is beautiful with such cool details like the dining area, gourmet kitchen, sliding bookshelf to secret play room, upstairs suite, and lovely outdoor patio with hot tub. The interior design is gorgeous. It is cozy and beautiful. I’d love to live here!

We got married in Tiverton and the Moore Team coordinated the small intimate event - it was a true fairytale. They made our special day purely magical and joyful and stress free. Every detail was stunning. Their talent, care, and organization was so impressive and so appreciated. We also enjoyed Mixology night and Chef’s night - the whole family loved it!. If you’re looking for a special family gathering - look no further and book!
