Dome 3 - Forest and Peek-a-boo lake view

This was a perfect getaway and exactly what I needed so badly. A stunning view and a beyond comfortable bed. I went for a massage on the deck. That’s a MUST! The whole experience, from check in to check out, was stress free and luxurious. Kind people that really seem to care about my comfort. And the location is perfect too. Just a short trek outside of Halifax. Far enough away to be surrounded by nature but no lengthy trip back. I’ll most definitely be staying at Nalu again.

Staying at Nalu Retreat was truly a magical glamping experience. It was the first time I'd ever stayed in a Dome, let alone a luxury one, so I didn't know what to expect. It was fully furnished, with a fully equipped kitchenette and its own beautiful bathroom. The outdoors had a BBQ, my own hot tub and propane fireplace with views of the lake. The bedroom at Dome #2 had an amazing view of Porters Lake when I woke up in the morning...not to mention I hadn't had a peaceful sleep like that in a long time. Being that far from the city lights (and noise) I could stargaze from the upstairs loft and do my yoga practise in the morning. My luxury, mini-getaway would not be complete without splurging on a 1- hour massage, and it just made the whole experience what I needed to feel re-energized and at peace.I wish I could've stayed longer, but I will be back (the nordic spa will be coming soon!).I highly recommend staying at Nalu Retreat if you're looking for a peaceful, tranquil stay surrounded by nature.
