Neko Neko Home

As others have said the home is such a peaceful place to stay with a beautiful interior and everything you could need for a longer stay. Location-wise my partner said, 'You're able to enjoy the local hustle without much bustle' and I agree. While it's location means you'll be travelling a bit more maybe to get to some of more popular spots in Tokyo it's never more than an extra 15-30 min in our experience. Tired from walking? Nearby there's still plenty to see and do! Ushka was also very responsive and was able to help us out with an issue same day- which was amazing and much appreciated! I cannot recommend this spot enough, especially if you want a quiet stay within the bright and exciting city that is Tokyo!

Wonderful Place for a 1st Tokyo Trip

We really enjoyed our stay. It was refreshing to have a quiet house to come back to after a busy day exploring Tokyo. The bed was comfy and we were very cozy. Plus there were lots of options for food and drink within a 5 minute walk. Beautiful neighbourhood and we can’t wait to come back!

Amazing Home away from Home

This was my second time staying at a Neko Neko property and it did not disappoint! Stayed here with my less-abled mother and goddaughter and we all very much enjoyed the vibe, location, and especially the kotatsu! We all wanted to experience a stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city (without actually being away from the city) and this was perfect for that. The space is very comfortable and exactly what we were hoping for. The remodel is a perfect amalgamation of modern and traditional Japanese, with the signature cat motif Neko Neko is named after. For those who are in to journaling or stationary, the workspace for doing those activities is excellent (and you can decorate your own ema and use the Neko Neko Home stamp!) and was something my goddaughter and I looked forward to every evening after long days (alongside the kotatsu, of course!).

As always, Ushka was a more than gracious host and so incredibly easy to communicate with! She replies promptly, is always so helpful and respectful with any special needs, and left us an array of excellent snacks! Neko Neko Home is also within walking distance of an excellent Japanese Grocery called Life which we were so grateful to have! We cannot wait to come back so we can stay with Neko Neko again! Thank you as always!

Purrfect Home Away from Home!

I've stayed in other homes in Japan before, but this is the best one, because it feels like a real home. The remodel is amazing. The mattress is unbelievable. We went in the winter, so had many cozy nights around the kotatsu and we used the ofuro every night after sightseeing.

The house was well-stocked with everything you could possibly need, along with cute notes and cats everywhere and some snacks and drinks.

We were leaving on New Year's Day with a very late flight, and Ushka was kind and accommodating about a late checkout.

If I had to mention any drawback, it might be that if this is your first time in Tokyo, it is a bit far from the action. It's a good 15 minute walk to Kyodo-Eki. But we wanted to stay in a quiet residential area. Labeling the cleaning supplies in English is also something that might be nice. I know I can use google translate, but when you're tired and jetlagged and just want to clean the place a bit, labels would be useful.

The hosts were really great about keeping in touch. I asked them to have the sofa made up into a bed, which it was. Ushka even answered the phone promptly on a holiday, when we accidentally got locked out and took care of the issue within a minute.

I definitely want to try their other properties in the future! Thank you, Neko Neko Home.

Staying in a Real Neighborhood

A great place to stay in Tokyo. The home was clean, comfortable for 4 people with all amenities you would want, a short walk to the nearest railway station and the best Japanese Supermarket (LIFE) that will leave you amazed at the quality and range of food available, so much we often grabbed something for breakfast on the way to heading out for the day. Only a few railway stops to Shibuya makes it convenient to travel anywhere in Tokyo. The hosts were amazing and very accomodating with a late checkout as we had a late night flight out of Tokyo. 5 Stars!
