Lymington is a destination for those who enjoy a little of everything. Browse the town’s independent shops, stop for coffee, or spend time around the quay watching boats on the water. Its maritime character gives the town a distinctive atmosphere, while its cafés, pubs and restaurants offer plenty of opportunities to turn an ordinary afternoon into a leisurely occasion.

For guests who love being outdoors, the New Forest adds another dimension to your holiday. Discover woodland paths, open heathland and villages where you can pause for lunch or simply enjoy a change of scenery. Look out for the forest’s famous free roaming ponies along the way, giving them space and admiring them from a respectful distance. There is no need to fill every hour; sometimes the best part of a break is having time to wander.

The surrounding coast offers appealing ways to spend your days. Head towards Milford on Sea for sea air and coastal scenery, or explore further around the Solent.
