With a quirky, vibrant, earthy and artistic mix of residents, Ramsgate is a fantastic place to reside and take a break. Located in the centre of everything Ramsgate has to offer, you won't even need your car to get around! 
A little piece of History - 
Built in 1883, is this beautiful Victorian home is steeped in coastal charm and history. Nestled in the heart of Ramsgate’s elegant West Cliff area, the house was originally part of a thriving seaside community during the height of the town’s popularity as a fashionable resort for wealthy holidaymakers in the 19th century.
Just around the corner, Spencer Square offers a special cultural connection – the famous artist Vincent van Gogh once lived and worked here in 1876. He lodged at 11 Royal Road and taught at a local school nearby. A statue of Van Gogh now stands proudly in Spencer Square as a tribute to his time in Ramsgate, where he admired the town’s beauty and coastal light, long before he became a household name.
The Paragon itself, with its distinctive architecture and sweeping sea views, was once home to naval officers, merchants, and families enjoying the golden age of British seaside leisure. You’re just a short walk from the Royal Harbour – the only Royal Harbour in the UK – which received its status from King George IV in 1821.

We had a fantastic stay at Nichola's place! The house was impeccably clean and very easy to access. It was perfect for our needs, especially since it was dog-friendly and had a small garden for our furry friend to enjoy. The location was ideal, with easy access to the town. Overall, it was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. We are definitely coming back and highly recommend it!

Clean and cosy

This is my 2nd time staying at Nicholas . Nichola was friendly It was a beautiful stay with a friend who liked it too. Felt really cosy and at home. I was able to walk in town within less than 10 minutes. Would love to go back and stay there again soon when I'm in Ramsgate next.

Nichola is a very friendly, responsive host! Her place is exactly as it shows in the pictures. Really homely, cosy and clean! We enjoyed our short stay here, in a very good location for the seafront and perfect for walks with our dog. Would definitely stay again!
