Mistwood is a place of peace and tranquility amidst the trees. If you're an artist, writer, musician, or creative type of any description, this is the property to replenish your senses. It's also a perfect place for families and friends to escape the crazy pace of urban life; soak in the sounds of the birds chirping, the aroma of the abundant flowers and the calm of 180 degree views of nothing but forest. You may even get a friendly visit from a wallaby, kangaroo or the resident wombat.

Mistwood with outdoor bathtubs - Mount Macedon

Beautiful property. It's much more than we expected. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a family.
We experienced excellent customer service from Nicole (Wonderful host), clean rooms, stunning views and top-notch amenities and the ultimate highlight were the outdoor baths.

Definitely will come back 😃

Tranquil

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Nicole’s place. The view of the forest was as stunning as it was relaxing. The house itself was really comfortable and had everything we needed for a weekend away. We particularly appreciated being able to check-in early and the delicious muesli for breakfast. We would highly recommend Nicole’s place.

Stunning

Such a hidden gem! So private and what an amazing view! We absolutely loved our stay here and really appreciate the extra touches (like the massage chair and wild bird seed). The owner was so friendly and responsive. We can't wait to come back again soon!

Hidden Gem

This is an idyllic hideaway on the slopes of Mt Macedon which has every amenity and is pet friendly. Perfect. We loved it

Idyllic hideaway

We had a great stay at Mistwood. Enjoyed the close walking trails and general store for coffee and lunch. The house was clean with great views. Would definitely stay here again!
