Betula Chalet is a fantastic rural holiday home, modern and light it makes you feel relaxed the minute you arrive. Whether you feel like not seeing a soul or seek adventures and exploring you are in the right spot. The spacious bathroom and fully fitted kitchen makes your stay comfortable while the living area and bedrooms are welcoming and cosy. Through the panorama window and the large decking you can connect with nature and wildlife. A king bed is situated on the mezzanine floor, 2 twin beds are in the downstairs bedroom.
Betula is set in 5 acres private land, (the garden is not enclosed) and surrounded by countryside, farmland as well as old woodland. There is a wonderful Loch to explore in walking distance as well as the river Findhorn and historic landmarks. The nearest shops are 9 miles from the chalet. There is very little light pollution allowing wonderful stargazing. If you are lucky you might even see the Northern Lights.

Betula Chalet – coast & country in the Highlands

Wonderful place to stay, it’s a beautiful cabin in a peaceful location. You can spend the days walking through woods to the loch or down to the Findhorn river to watch salmon jumping. The hosts recommended a drive to the beach which was excellent for the dogs. We either sat and watched the birds through the huge glass front or the stars from around the outdoor fire pit. There’s everything you need to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful stay

Wonderful place

Beautiful location, great place to go and completely switch off, plenty of places to walk and get out and about and then come back and relax and just take in the views… we also got a highland winter with plenty snow, couldn’t ask for more

Completely switch off

We had a perfect winter getaway at Betula! The chalet had everything we needed and was very cosy and comfy. The area was beautiful, quiet, and secluded, but was only a 15 min drive to Nairn for shops, pubs and the beach. It was a great location for going out on lovely woodland or coastal walks, including some walks starting right at the cabin! In the afternoons and evenings it was the perfect space to relax in and read, and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking when we preferred to stay in. On clear nights you could see so many stars when you stepped outside, it was gorgeous!! Absolutely perfect and we’d love to come stay again.

Perfect Winter Getaway

We loved our stay at Betula Chalet. it was so peaceful with beautiful surroundings. It was immaculately clean and had some of the best guest instructions and things to do pamphlets we have ever seen at a place where we are staying. it really helped us plan some things to do. We would have loved to stay longer - the only regret. We would definitely recommend to family and friends. thank you for your hospitality

Had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous, clean, well-appointed and comfortable chalet. The setting is so peaceful and beautiful. Lovely local walks and such a tranquil place. I stayed in order to work on a novel, and can’t think of anywhere more perfect to write. Anna communicated brilliantly before my stay, and Paul came round to check I was OK and to welcome me. 5 stars - would recommend to anyone who wants a quiet stay in the woods in a lovey home
