Matties Bonaire

In juli verbleven wij drie weken in het fantastische huis Matties.
We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad.

Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien.
Goede bedden, ruime slaapkamers.

Top geregeld

Super verblijf

Four years ago, after our first stay at Villa Matties, we wrote that we had fallen in love with this magical place and its breathtaking views. We even said that one day we would come back. Well, four years later, we did exactly that, and once again it exceeded all our expectations.
From the moment the sun rises until it disappears behind the horizon in shades of gold, orange, red, and yellow, the panoramic view from the terrace is simply mesmerizing. Sitting by the edge of the pool, surrounded by peace and nature, you realize that this is what Bonaire is all about.
The villa itself has everything you need. The kitchen is very well equipped, the air conditioning works perfectly, the beds are wonderfuly comfortable, the bathrooms are excellent, and the constant Bonaire trade wind flows naturally through the house, making it a pleasure to spend time both inside and outside.
But what makes Villa Matties truly special is the feeling it gives you. Two weeks here feels like pressing the reset button. You return home completely recharged, relaxed, and refreshed. During your stay you enjoy everything Bonaire has to offer, but every time you come back to the villa you are reminded why you chose this place in the first place.
We often joked that Villa Matties has the biggest television on the entire island: the panoramic, full-color view from the terrace. No screen could ever compete with that.
A special thank you to Werner and Mirja from Blue Vibes Bonaire for once again making everything run so smoothly and making us feel welcome from start to finish.
We definitely won’t wait another four years before returning. Villa Matties truly feels like coming home.

4 yrs later we came back!

We have stayed here every year and love the location. It is close enough to everything you could possibly want.

We walk daily through the neighbourhoods. Often we will see parrots and parakeets along with troupials and other smaller birds. Of course goats and donkeys along the main road mostly.
It is close to some lovely restaurants though the kitchen is perfect for cooking your own meals then watching the sunset from the deck.

The pool is a bonus especially when the winds are too low to windsurf or after a long walk..

There is plenty of snorkelling near by as well.

The best is it is a quiet neighbourhood, the great owners and Blue Vibes who manage Matties Place who are always welcoming and available for questions or if something needs fixing.

Quiet & Private Home

Heerlijk klimaat - fantastische zee - zwemmen snorkelen - relaxen.
Wij komen zeker terug !
