Overview
Our villa is 6 bedroom, 5 bathroom, measuring 3537 sq. ft./332m2. As we bought our home off plan we were able to specify changes and additions. We went for the option of the extended upstairs to give a larger loft area, two bigger bedrooms and enabling two further bathrooms to be added so all 4 bedrooms upstairs are en-suite. This means our villa can comfortably sleep 14 people so is perfect for multiple families. 
It is south facing so you get the sun on the pool and deck area all day and with a conservation view there are no rear neighbours. Both the pool and the deck have been extended increasing from the standard deck size of 21′ x 40′ to 30′ x 40′ and giving a pool measuring 30′ x 15′. This means there is 5′ of deck behind the pool, which many homes do not have, giving more space to put your loungers. 
The award winning community of Providence is situated in Davenport and about 15 miles from Disney World. It is a 24 hour manned, gated community mainly made up of residential or second home properties so gives the community a nice homely feel and also benefits from a Michael Dasher designed Par 72 Championship Golf Course.
Our villa is fully managed by a long standing and reputable Property Management Company providing added comfort knowing help and assistance is at hand should you need it. The “Laundry Room Service” means there is no need for departing guests to strip beds and put bedding and towels in washing machines (a good time saver) as they are all removed and replaced with fresh linen and towels for the new guests. In addition to the home being cleaned prior to your arrival, it is then inspected by our dedicated Property Manager.
Our villa is decorated and furnished to a very high standard by a local interior design company to give that stylish, sophisticated feel but we also want to incorporate the fun element into Goofy’s Golf Getaway so there are three Disney Park Themed bedrooms and a games room.

Ground Floor
The Family Gather area houses two sofas and a love-seat to ensure there is ample seating for sitting chatting or watching TV. 
The Dining area can accommodate 8 people around the formal table and there are also 4 comfortable stools for the kitchen bar. 
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need including air fryer, Keurig coffee machine, filter coffee maker, kettle and toaster. The GE appliance package consists of a self cleaning oven, microwave conveniently located above the range, a side by side refrigerator and a five cycle dishwasher. 
The Laundry Room includes Whirlpool electric washer and dryer and there is a steam iron and ironing board. There is also a safe fitted here, large enough to store a laptop.
Just off the Dining/Gather area are the two ground floor bedrooms which are ideal for one family as bedroom 2 has a King bed and bedroom 6, the Animal Kingdom themed room, has twin beds. There is a shared bathroom for these two bedrooms.
Away from the main living area at the front of the property is our “Chill Out” room, where we had the optional glass doors fitted so you can shut yourself away. Here we have gone for 2 cream sofas and for the ultimate relaxation a chaise-lounge. There is a footstool that can be turned into a table and also a drinks bar – we have purposely avoided putting a TV in here so it is somewhere you can get away for a while to chat, read or a sneaky snooze!!
The Garage has been professionally converted into a Games room. There is something for everyone with a 7′ pool table, air-hockey, foosball and a flat screen TV and bar table with stools. The garage door has been insulated to keep the heat out and covered with a thermal curtain giving an attractive look. An air-conditioning unit has been installed so the room can be enjoyed all year round and the walls have been painted and decorated with retro wall art
First Floor
As you come up the stairs to the first floor you are greeted by the huge loft area. This is the perfect place to either play on the Playstation 4 console, or watch a movie. This room has a London vibe to it with a red leather sectional sofa, a black leather Barcelona chair and two gaming chairs providing plenty of seating with tasteful prints and decor to bring a little of the UK to Florida. There is also a desk and chair should you need to work or plan your days out.
All of the upstairs bedrooms lead off the loft area. Each has their own private bathroom making four self contained sleeping units. You don’t even have to go downstairs with your dirty washing – just send it down the laundry chute!
The Master Suite has a King size bed as well as a leather sofa and ottoman, a huge closet and large walk in shower and separate w.c.
Bedroom 3 has a Queen bed 
There are two more Disney Park themed bedrooms, Magic Kingdom that has twin beds and Hollywood Studios that has two double/full beds.

Goofys Golf Getaway

Having stayed before we knew we had nothing to worry about and that the villa would be there large, clean, well maintained and equipped. Although it was just the two of us we enjoyed the choice of lounges and can really appreciate how it is perfect for multi generational or 2/3 families sharing. We spent most of our time at the villa enjoying the large private sun deck and beautifully heated pool. You can always get shade if needed on the comfy outdoor sofa and there is much wildlife watching to be had as you overlook a nature area to the rear. If you are reading this as a first time booker terrified of booking directly I was exactly the same, but this time I had no concerns I knew Martin & Julie’s lovely home would be waiting for us with no issues and we would be looked after well by them in the UK and Paul the local property manager if we had any issues. 
Another wonderful stay, thanks to Martin & Julie for sharing their holiday home, we hope to be back again before too long!

Another wonderful stay

I write this review not as a guest but as an associate but now I consider myself a friend.
I first came across Martin on a few FB groups, probably about 10 years ago. Over the years I contacted him on numerous occasions about a variety of Orlando related things and I always found him to be super helpful. Unfortunately Goofys Golfing Getaway was always too big for my family of 3 to stay in so I never actually got to see the villa, but all that changed a few weeks ago and it did not disappoint. 
My husband & I are regular travellers to Florida, our daughter recently married an American and moved there. Often over the last few years Martin and Julie have been in Florida at the same time as us and we always said that we should meet up and finally we did. 
I invited myself to their villa as I said I’d love to visit it 😊
Martin and Julie were fantastic hosts, a good cup of English tea and goodies from Publix were waiting for our arrival. The villa is everything that the pictures and reviews show and say. It is very well maintained and so spacious and spotlessly clean. The rooms are all really well furnished, and any damage that may happen during a guests stay is repaired or replaced as soon as possible. Every last detail has been thought about so that a stay there feels like a proper home from home. But it doesn’t stop there! Martin and Julie are constantly trying to do better and in every room they showed us they wanted honest feedback as to what or how they could improve. Our answer everytime was ‘you can’t, you’ve got everything covered’ 
It’s obvious that this villa and their guests are very important to them and I can honestly say that I don’t think you’ll get a better place to stay in that area and you certainly won’t get better hosts. 
It was an absolute pleasure to meet Martin & Julie and I feel honoured that they allowed me to snoop around their lovely home.

Fantastic Villa

In total there were 12 members of the same family from ages 74 (Grumps) to 2 (Edie) and many in between and there was something for everyone! 
To be honest, we can only echo previous reviews in that this lovely villa lacks nothing in terms of attention to detail. Whether it be lazing by or in the pool to playing pool in the fabulously equipped Games Room. Facilities were exceptional.

The Grandparents (ie Grumps and Nanny) took one of the downstairs bedrooms, away from the rest of the family upstairs. The only comment (and this is purely an observation and NOT a criticism) is that Nanni struggled to step over the bath to use the shower in the downstairs bathroom. Unfortunately she is not able to climb stairs anymore, so we were unable to use a walk-in shower on the first floor.
Away from Orlando, we visited New Orleons and Miami which are both within driving range (if you like driving!
Any minor issues were dealt with immediately by Martin or the on site Maintenance Team. 
In summary, a truly exceptional Villa, the likes of which we have never experienced before.

This was our third stay at Goofy’s Golf Getaway and it certainly won’t be our last - we stayed for 16 nights this time - it’s never long enough, as it’s so enjoyable & goes far too quickly.

Martin and Julie simply couldn’t be better hosts. From providing all the necessary resources and pre-arrival information, to being on hand throughout the stay - they are both communicative and kind. Martin and Julie even stayed up to ensure we arrived at the villa safely which demonstrates how they often go the extra mile for their guests. 

We were greeted with a special gift (thank you once again) and it truly felt like we were walking into our second home. As we arrived during the week of Halloween, the villa was decorated with lots of wonderful decorations which was a lovely touch. 

Situated in the stunning location of Providence, the villa is close enough to all the amenities and theme parks while still providing a space to truly rest and relax in the beautiful Floridian sun. We thoroughly enjoyed our days by the extra large pool, whereby you are not overlooked - it’s so peaceful - offering us the opportunity to step away from the hustle and bustle of the parks, and unwind. This 6 bedroom villa equally provides the space to enjoy family time together. It is spacious, with plenty of areas to socialise together as a family. We particularly enjoy the relaxing room at the front of the house as well as the games room in the garage which brings out our competitive sides, with a table football table, air hockey, darts - they also have games consoles and much more - there’s truly something for everyone. 

The maintenance and upkeep of the villa is second to none. Each time we arrive at the villa you can see how much love and effort Martin and Julie place into this home to ensure that guest experience and satisfaction remains at a high - it really is maintained to a high level.

We’re already looking forward to our next stay at Goofys Golf Getaway later this year to make more memories together in this beautiful villa. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this villa to anyone wanting to book their next holiday in Orlando - you will not be disappointed.
