Dairy Cottage

From the moment we arrived we felt cared for like family. The cottage was spaceous, scrupulously clean, well equipped and beautifully situated for walks from the door as well as travels around the island. We would not hesitate to recommend staying here.

From the moment we arrived we felt cared for like family.

Three of us stayed (couple plus child of 18 months) and it was perfect for us - Salen about 8 minutes away, beautiful location for the cottage, and a ruined castle (explore at your own risk!) very close. We didn't use the room upstairs - a couple of others could easily have been there too. Amazon Prime and Netflix a welcome bonus for the evenings. Would wholeheartedly recommend it.

Perfect break

We all had a wonderful week on Mull at Castle Steadings. The cottage was warm, clean and centrally positioned for exploring the island. The weather was great, sunny every day and the wildlife performed well for us. We had Sea-eagles over the cottage on two days and found a nest on another. There was an Otter eating a fish one day, and we had a sighting of a Minke whale. I logged 73 species of birds. We will all return, probably at the end of May next year as it will be good to see the trees in leaf and the Bluebells flowering.

Mull Magic

Great location. Very clean property with everything you need. Friendly hosts and great beach within yards of cottage.

Great cottage!

I can not rate this cottage high enough, every thing you need for a relaxing holiday. The best area for getting around Mull. A must for wildlife watching. Richard and his family are so friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back.
