Nordegg Timber Estate – Luxury Log Home Retreat

We stayed at Nordegg Timber Estate with a group of 9 friends and had an amazing weekend. The house was beautiful, really clean and had more than enough space for everyone. We spent most of our evenings in the hot tub or sitting around the fire, and the big kitchen and dining area were perfect for cooking and having meals together. The location was great too, close enough to get out and explore during the day but private and quiet when we got back. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into the place. We all agreed we’d come back again, hopefully for longer next time!

Perfect spot for a weekend with friends

We recently stayed at Nordegg Timber Estate with our two young kids, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we could tell this wasn’t your typical cabin stay — the attention to detail, cleanliness, and quality of the space made it feel like a true mountain retreat with all the comforts of home (and more!).

Whether you’re planning to hike, relax, or just disconnect as a family, Nordegg Timber Estate is a gem. We left feeling rested, refreshed, and already planning our return trip. Highly, highly recommend for families with young children — everything you need is here, and then some!

What an escape!

I really enjoyed my stay at Nordegg Timber Estate. The log cabin felt comfortable and relaxing, with a very nice luxury feel as well. The location is beautiful and made the whole trip even better.

Comfortable and luxurious log cabin feel

Booked Nordegg Timber Estate for a getaway with friends and it was everything we hoped for. Big deck, fire pit, views, and that log cabin vibe made it feel like we were living in a postcard. It is clear the owners want everybody to have a great stay, the attention to every details, from high end soap from Rocky Mountain Soap that conveys the smell of nature to the meticulous beds, even the towels; it’s the kind of place where you lose track of time in the best way.

Luxury Done Right

My partner and I got a special opportunity to book this place before it officially opened, so we took a weekend just for ourselves and it couldn’t have been more romantic. Coffee on the deck with mountain views in the morning, wine by the fireplace at night, luxury robes and linens in every bedroom. We’ve already made this ‘our spot’ for special occasions
