Accessed via the main California Sands Holiday Park entrance, you’ll follow signs for chalet 292, which has a large car park for you to park free of charge.
When you enter California Sands Holiday Park, ignore the first left (which leads to a small car park) but turn left when your approach the Oasis Club House and the road splits. Then take the next left, and you’ll see a large car park, and you’ll see the chalet directly in front of you. It’s one of the few grey chalets.
I’m available over the phone most of the time, but I don’t live locally, however I am in Scratby most weekends at my second home (which is 5 minutes from this property)

It’s also a short drive to Horsey, where you can usually see the famous grey seals, the last count was over 3,000 seals, and over 2,000 pups. Or head to the Pleasure Beach at Great Yarmouth, all within a short drive (15 minutes).
There’s loads to do locally, including Yarmouth Stadium (for banger racing and dog track), horse racing and golf can be founds at the racecourse at Great Yarmouth and the Broads National Park also a short drive away.
The most stunning dog friendly California Beach is just a short 5 minute walk away, where you can stroll for miles and miles (I’ve walked for 5+ miles along the beach and it never seems to end). When the sun is shining, and your toes are brushing the soft golden sands, you could be forgiven for thinking you were in the Caribbean.
There are some bus links to nearby towns and villages, including the open top clipper bus to Great Yarmouth.

Luxury Scratby chalet with free swimming

A brilliant stay all round. The location is ideal, the chalet is comfortable and clean, and the added extras like the swimming really make a difference. Norfolk Seaside Escapes clearly take pride in what they offer.

5 stars - perfect week

We stayed here during the Easter holidays and had a wonderful time. The chalet is great - everything we needed and beautifully presented. The site is excellent too, with plenty to keep young ones entertained.

Colin was a wonderful host too. He couldn't have done more to make sure we were settled and comfortable. Thank you!

Wonderful stay

From the moment we arrived, everything felt easy and welcoming. The chalet was spotless and very well equipped. Colin checked in to make sure everything was okay, which was a nice touch. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing stay. 10/10

We've stayed in lots of chalets over the years but this one tops the list. Everything you need is there. The fast WiFi was great and the chalet was spotless throughout. The power points everywhere, including USB and USB-C, were a really nice touch. The shower was excellent and heating was very affordable during our stay. Overall, a fantastic chalet and a great host. We will definitely be back soon.
