The Apartment at Old Pier House

A big thank you to Osh who welcomed and hosted us for our week-long stay. The apartment is perfect for two and the location of the Old Pier House is superb. Lovely and quiet and peaceful yet only 10 mins walk into the village for shops, cafes and pubs etc. Can not recommend highly enough - hope you love it as much as we did!

Fantastic location and stay

We stayed 3 nights in this very spacious, quiet, clean and modern equipped apartment with a fantastic view on Loch Ness. The nice walk to Fort Augustus takes about 10 minutes. It´s a perfect place to explore the region around the Loch Ness. Although Fort Augustus is a very touristic village which you can explore in one hour we definitely would come back to this apartment because you can explore this part of Scotland very well from here.

Great apartment with great view on Loch Ness

I’ve now stayed in the The Apartment at Old Pier House twice and both times it was absolutely excellent. The rooms are tidy and spacious and, even though we visited in the depths of winter, cosy and warm. The view of the grounds and the Loch from different apartment rooms is spectacular and fully immerses you in the Scottish Highland scenery. Old Pier House itself is located in an area of exceptional beauty, the grounds lead directly to Loch Ness whilst still being on the doorstep of the amenities in Fort Augustus. Ash and Osh were such welcoming and helpful hosts, making stay as easy as possible. We’ll definitely be back again!
