Oniya at Heart Brand Ranch offers a Montana-Real™ experience just outside of Red Lodge.

During your stay at The Farmhouse, you'll wake up to horses outside your window, fresh eggs on your porch, and days with no decisions required. Ease into big sky afternoons, quiet nights and fresh air, and a slower unplugged pace that's become harder to find these days.
Nestled on 580 private acres in Roberts, Montana, The Farmhouse offers more than a place to stay—it offers privacy, space, and a chance to experience life on a working ranch. Space to slow down, reconnect, celebrate, explore, or simply breathe.
Spend your mornings with coffee on the porch as horses and donkeys graze nearby. Wander the ranch and say hello to the chickens, keep an eye out for the resident ranch cats, Otis, Mommy, and Georgie... and meet Tate- protector, greeter, and local celebrity. Tate is the working ranch dog that takes his job seriously and has been known to win over guests before they've even unpacked.
Explore miles of meditative walking trails winding through the ranch. Practice yoga in the studio just steps away. Watch the sun set over the rolling hills before settling in beneath some of the starriest skies in the country.
The ranch has also served as the backdrop for feature film productions, retreats, and other creative gatherings drawn to the breathtaking environment, privacy, and calming spirit of this special place.
Unique to Oniya at Heart Brand Ranch are the additional experiences available upon request, including horse+human connection, private breath work or yoga classes, and massage treatments at Cree's Cabin overlooking the vast expanse of the ranch. Please inquire about experience availability with our ranch host prior to booking.
Whether you're planning a long-weekend getaway, a girls' trip, a family adventure, an outdoor immersion, or simply a few days to breathe a little deeper, The Farmhouse offers a rare opportunity to experience Montana in a way few visitors ever do.
Around here, you'll find plenty of room to roam, friendly faces on both two legs and four, and a standing invitation to slow down and stay awhile.
The stars are brighter here.
The mornings are quieter.
And if Montana has ever felt like a place you'd like to run to for a few days, you'll find you've got friends waiting for you at Oniya at Heart Brand Ranch.
You'll leave restored, rejuvenated, rested, and counting the days until your next visit.

The Farmhouse at Oniya Ranch

Our stay was a dream. I came with my husband, my teenager daughter and her friend this time, although I've been two other times on my own for private retreats. This time we were able to spend a day in Yellowstone- an easy drive. The farmhouse is so cozy, the beds are SO comfortable and you have all of the necessities with a few extra special surprises. We loved being steps away from all the animals. Daisy- the donkey- is my favorite. So friendly. My husband and I had coffee each morning and then walked the miles of trails throughout the property. We couldn't possibly cover all the acres in one stay. We'll be back, and I have a feeling whether it's with family, friends, or on my own, I'll return again and again. This place just seems to stay with you. Thanks to the owner, Kristi, and the staff (and animals) who make it feel like home every time.

I just keep coming back :-)

We came to Oniya Ranch last summer with our family for a Wedding just a few miles down the road from the ranch. We fell in love immediately with the beautiful setting of peaceful bliss. My husband and I returned this July with brother and sister in law for a week of relaxation. It was like coming home again. Kristi and her amazing staff are all so helpful, friendly and loving. It’s a great place to restart and explore your spirituality walking on the paths around the ranch. The farmhouse is cozy and comfortable and the views of the horses, chickens and wildlife is over the top! There are easy connections from Bozeman and Billings to get to the ranch with the huge Heart in the hill as you enter. It’s Heaven on Earth! ♥️

Married couple

I cannot recommend this Montana farmhouse at ONIYA enough! From the moment I arrived, I felt immersed in the beauty of nature and the peacefulness of the ranch. The horses grazing nearby and the abundance of wildlife made every morning feel magical. The property is expansive, offering miles and miles of trails that are perfect for walking, reflecting, and finding clarity. Each day felt like a reset, surrounded by the calming sights and sounds of the countryside. Oh, and their beautiful yoga room was amazing… and so healing. Spending time stretching my body and centering my mind set the tone for each day. Whether you’re looking for adventure or a place to unwind, the Oniya farmhouse offers the perfect escape. A truly special experience that I’ll cherish forever!

Magical

My best friend and I stayed for a week or relaxation and rest … we were held with such beauty comfort and zen … the farm house felt like coming home to Grandmas … I rested so well … the natural beauty of the land was exquisite … the vistas of horses a pond and colored leaves everywhere … oh of course the forest cathedral … we will be back

Breathtaking Farm House Zen

The farmhouse at Oniya Ranch is warm, inviting and cozy- beautifully done- not a detail missed! The 600 acre setting is magical- wonderfully situated for hiking and meditation. I loved waking up to the wildlife and horses. It does not get any better!
