A Young Couple A New Nation

Colonel Benjamin Tallmadge, legendary commander of the Culper Spy Ring—General George Washington’s highly effective intelligence network—modeled this elegant estate after Mount Vernon. The young newlyweds Benjamin and Mary Floyd made this their home in 1784.

In the heart of Litchfield’s historic colonial district, this five bedroom home will be open to discerning guests for the first time. Relaxation and distinctive private events where history was lived.
