APARTMENT CILIEGIO – Entire apartment for up to 5 guests
Located on the first floor of the main farmhouse, the Ciliegio apartment offers approximately 85 m² of comfortable living space. Recently renovated, it brings together the charm of the original Tuscan farmhouse and the comfort of a modern home.
The apartment features two bedrooms with different characters: a particularly spacious master bedroom, with a beautiful high ceiling and two windows, and a second, more intimate bedroom. Windows facing east and south bring natural light into the apartment throughout the day, offering lovely views of the surrounding countryside.
The apartment
The accommodation is arranged to comfortably host up to 4 guests:

Living area: a welcoming living room with a comfortable sofa and a dining area, together with a modern, fully equipped kitchen.

Two Bedrooms: one particularly spacious master bedroom, featuring a beautiful high ceiling, two windows and a king-size bed plus an additional single bed; the second, more intimate bedroom has a double bed.

Bathrooms: two private en-suite bathrooms, one for each bedroom, both equipped with spacious showers.

Outdoor spaces
The Ciliegio apartment does not have a private outdoor space or balcony. Guests are welcome to enjoy the shared outdoor areas of Poderino il Sole, including the panoramic terrace and the gardens.

A few things to know before booking
The Ciliegio apartment is rented as a whole apartment, and the price is for the entire apartment, not per person. The rate remains the same whether you are staying as a couple, a family or a group, up to the maximum occupancy of 5 guests. There is no breakfast service. However, for your first morning, we leave a few simple essentials, including coffee, tea, milk and a homemade treat.
A car is essential. Poderino il Sole is set in the Tuscan countryside, about 6 km from Lajatico, the nearest town with the main services. There are no shops, restaurants or public transport within walking distance. Shops, restaurants and wineries are generally 7–14 km away.
Thanks to its fast, stable Wi-Fi and peaceful surroundings, the apartment is also ideal for working remotely, particularly during autumn and winter.
PODERINO IL SOLE
Poderino il Sole is a restored eighteenth-century farmhouse on a hill in the Tuscan countryside, near Volterra, surrounded by fields and olive trees and offering spectacular 360° views.
The property offers three independent two-bedroom apartments and two independent three-bedroom holiday homes. The apartments Noce, Ciliegio and Ulivo are located on the first floor and have no private outdoor spaces, while the two holiday homes Quercia and Cipresso offer private outdoor areas.
All five accommodations have their own fully equipped kitchen and are rented individually.
Guests can enjoy the large shared infinity pool with sunbathing area, panoramic terrace, Columns Garden, Volterra gazebo and olive grove.
Free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station are available. Charging is offered for a fee.
Lajatico, about 6 km away, is the nearest town with the main services. From here, you can explore the authentic villages of Tuscany, cities of art, spas and the coast — or simply relax by the pool and enjoy the landscape.
WHO WE ARE
My husband Francesco and I live here all year round, on the ground floor of the farmhouse, together with our two dogs, Luna and Ombra, and our cat, Macchia.
We personally welcome our guests and are usually around if you need anything during your stay.
Check-in is possible only between 3:30 pm and 7:30 pm.
