Built for families who want to be together without being on top of each other. The Poipu Aloha House is a restored Hawaiian home with a separate cottage in Poipu, Kauai, sleeping up to 12 guests in five bedrooms with five bathrooms.
The main house has four bedrooms, each with a private full bathroom: one king and three queens. The separate one-bedroom cottage has a king bed, bathroom, kitchenette and living area with a queen sleeper sofa, ideal for grandparents or a second family. This rental includes both the main house and cottage.
Hardwood floors and original redwood paneling meet modern comforts including air conditioning, smart TVs, mesh Wi-Fi, white noise machines for those not used to Kauai's unofficial state bird the rooster, updated bathrooms and a fully equipped chef's kitchen, plus a laundry room with a washer and dryer.
Gather on the large lanais, relax in the six-person hot tub beneath the palms, or head to the game room with ping pong, a bar area and ice maker. A separate office offers space for remote work, games and movies.
Stroll about five minutes to Baby Beach, a calm, reef-sheltered cove ideal for little swimmers, and snorkel at Koloa Landing at the end of the road. Waikomo Stream and a waterfall are across the street, while sunset walks, restaurants and the Shops at Kukui'ula are close by.
What about a pool? Your stay includes membership at the nearby Poipu Beach Athletic Club, with resort-style pools, a family pool with a waterslide, fitness facilities, tennis and pickleball.
No smoking or pets sorry. Getting together for a birthday, wedding or reunion? Let us know in advance if you'd like any provisions at the property in advance of your arrival!
This vacation rental is located in a tsunami evacuation zone.
