Your own corner of Andalusia, right beside the pool

Casa Valyria is the first of two apartments at Posada Aurora, our small finca between the olive groves on the edge of the Sierrezuela nature park, just outside the village of Posadas and about 35 minutes from the historic centre of Córdoba. It is made for guests who want quiet, nature and privacy — with the comfort of a home that has been finished down to the last detail.

Step out of one side and you are on your own private terrace, looking out over the surrounding hills and over our animals grazing in the field. Step out of the other and you are at the pool. Mornings here start slowly, with coffee and the sound of the horses; afternoons tend to end in the water.

On the finca

Posada Aurora is a working finca as much as a place to stay, and guests are welcome to be part of it.

The area

Posadas sits between the Guadalquivir valley and the wooded hills of the Sierra Morena. Córdoba, with its Mezquita and old Jewish quarter, is a 35-minute drive; Seville is around an hour. Walking and cycling routes start at the gate, and several filming locations from Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon are within easy reach — which is where both of our apartments get their names.
