Cahuilla Mountain Retreat

Amazing stay with beautiful views and everything that we could ever need! Definitely wish to stay here again!

Everything We Could Ever Need!

What a lovely place. Sharing my experience in chronological order; no issues with communication with the owners as they are quick to respond and accommodating. Reaching the place could be a small challenge as the last 2 miles are unpaved. If you have a car with decent clearance (just no ricers slammed to the ground) it’s a little off-roading fun. I can tell a lot of TLC put on this place and is planned for it. What looked like a grow-your-own-food garden and landscaping with plants and rocks. Dual band wifi is fast enough to stream multiple 4k entertainment simultaneously and cell service was also surprisingly good. Not advertised but level 1 1.6kw ev charger(J1772) is available as well. There is no attached garage but a picturesque parking spot under the blooming tree. The facilities are mostly new; all the appliances are brand new and so is the entire bathroom. For our stay of only 2 ppl it was not an issue but if you have more, keep in mind there is 1 bathroom. The beds were fine, I like plush beds so I had a good time but the Mrs likes it stiff so her not so much. I saved the best for last which is the view. While you are in the common area, you always get the magnificent view of the entire neighborhood. At night you see the sparsely spread lights and you get cloud9 vibes. We booked this place to get away from it all and that’s what we got. Now back at the heart of LA i miss our trip already. 10/10

10/10

The place went above and beyond what we expected: super clean, so spacious, and a beautiful view overlooking Anza. Larry and Quinn were amazing hosts and were so kind to give us some delicious bread from a local bakery for us to try.

My favorite parts of this stay were the design of the house and the nature surrounding it! It was such a beautiful sight to see the sunrise/sunset there and to feed the hummingbirds that live right outside the property.

I would highly recommend staying at this place and I would love to come back here! The best place to get away for the weekend and relax.

The best airbnb ever!!!

I knew my book wasn't suffering from a lack of ideas. Between constant notifications, daily responsibilities, and the endless noise of modern life, I couldn't hear my own thoughts anymore. I came to the mountain hoping for uninterrupted time, but I left with my creativity.
The first couple of days were difficult. I turned off my phone, but soon realized just how dependent I'd become on the constant emails, and social media. My mind kept racing. Instead of writing, I found myself simply sitting on the deck watching the clouds and the hummingbirds.
Then, somewhere around the third day, my mental clutter faded and ideas began to resurface. Characters started speaking again. By the end, I had not only finished the final chapters of my book, I remembered why I became a writer in the first place.
This place isn't just a beautiful place to stay, it's a place where your mind has room to breathe and your creativity has permission to return.

Creativity Returned

Not only are Quinn & Larry the most accommodating and responsive hosts ever, they are also the most kind and thoughtful! I booked the retreat for my nervous Chihuahas who hate fireworks, but didn't realize just how much I needed to decompress myself. I meditated, did yoga, soaked in the hot tub, started reading three books, and spent hours gazing at the epic views and fanciful hummingbirds. It was transformational! The house is absolutely beautiful and the property incredibly well-manicured. I left spoiled and serene! I can't wait to come back.

I left Spoiled and Serene!
