This charming, modern house with enclosed tropical patio is walking distance to beaches, pier, harbor, restaurants, bars, shopping, movie theaters, and weekly Farmer's and Sunset Markets. This is an ideal location for accessing Oceanside events. This 2-bedroom, 1-bath house has been completely rebuilt, with a brand new kitchen, bathroom, and furnishings. The backyard is a perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee, or unwind after a sunny day on the beach.
The open floorplan was designed with vacationers in mind. Each of the two bedrooms in front has its own sliding door to a private terrace. The foosball table/game area leads into the brand new living room and kitchen with 75" television and center island. Two sets of French doors open from the kitchen and living room to the backyard patio, complete with barbecue and lounge area. The effect is an indoor/outdoor space perfect for basking in sunny days, cooking family meals, enjoying entertainment, and spending time together. This house is new on the market, but please refer to extensive reviews on our other listings for references.
Guests staying at this downtown property have access to the complete private home, including two bedrooms, one bathroom, kitchen, living room, game room, and outdoor, fenced in patio with space to lounge, barbecue, and hang with friends. The location is ideal for those traveling without a car. We are walking distance to shopping, movies, restaurants, bike trails, parks, beaches, pier, harbor, library, cafes, bars, etc, all within blocks. Oceanside is a small, lively city with great local events like the weekly Sunset Market, farmer's markets, concerts, monthly Art Walk, parades, and triathlons. It is also centrally located for quick access to Legoland, Disneyland, Wild Animal Park, Sea World, etc.
Update: The construction across the street was completed in 2024 and there are no longer parking restrictions in front of the house. 
There is so much going on in Oceanside! We LOVE the weekly Sunset Markets (Thursday evenings) and Farmer's Markets (Thursday mornings). Oceanside is eclectic and diverse with a lot of history, and the many activities going on around Oceanside represent that diversity. From plays at local theaters, parades, outdoor concerts, movie theaters, variety of local craft breweries, and excellent dining, there is something for everyone here. And of course, you can't beat being able to walk to the beach!
Once you're here, everything you need is a short walk away! Restaurants, movies, and shopping are all less than five minutes walk. It's less than ten minutes walk to the beach, pier, and strand. There is generally plenty of street parking. FYI, the neighborhood gets busier on Thursday evenings for the Sunset Market (but lucky you, you're just a block away from some of the best street food from around the world!)

Very relaxing, and tranquil.  Convenient to restaurants and beaches. Great city, a hidden gem Love the minimalistic decor.

This place was perfect! My husband &amp; I booked an impromptu trip to Oceanside &amp; needed to find a place quickly. Rachel was a great host! Responded very quickly, and was very accommodating. Check-in was hassle free. The house was spotlessly clean, stylish and well stocked as advertised. Guest book is also provided that covers all recommended restaurants &amp; shopping centers. This house is literally home away from home. We could not have asked for a better location. Overall a wonderful place; we would stay here again easily!

Wonderful location, and very clean!  Great outdoor space.  Easy walking distance to everything you need in Oceanside.  Would definitely recommend and would use again when my guests come to visit!

I enjoyed my stay in Oceanside. The house is ideally located with a short walk to downtown and the beach. Rachel had all the amenities in order for our family to enjoy our stay. My toddler appreciated the fun toys and games she had available. Rachel also had a wagon full of beach day necessities. Rachel’s guestbook had great recommendations for restaurants. We enjoyed having breakfast at Don’s Country Kitchen and the Sunset Market had us in foodie heaven. I would use Rachel’s home again for another family stay.
