Enjoy views of the iconic D'Entrecasteaux Channel and Bruny Island in your private waterside oasis. Breathe in the salty, fresh air on the furnished wrap around deck, cooking up a feast on the BBQ or escaping the rain on the sheltered loungers. Bring the outside in with the large floor to ceiling doors, which open directly into the open plan kitchen, living, and dining area. Just a short walk from the water's edge, this 3-bedroom home is ideal for a tranquil family getaway.
This beautiful 3 bedroom house in set amongst a stunning private garden and has a neighbouring vineyard. This house boasts views of Bruny Island and the D'Entrecasteaux Channel, and the water’s edge is a mere metres away.
There is one queen room and 2 single rooms: one of the single rooms has a large desk for anyone wanting to work away from home. All the rooms are beautifully appointed with built in storage and ambient lighting.
The spacious and fully equipped kitchen is open plan with several lounge seating areas, the dining area, and direct access via glass patio doors onto the deck. There is a smart TV, reverse cycle heat pump, and fast internet. Cook up a Tassie gourmet feast in the well-equipped kitchen, and enjoy that remarkable view.
There is 1 bathroom with a large vanity and walk in shower. The laundry facilities are next door, with a washing machine and dryer.
The sleepy hamlet of Woodbridge is the closest township to this house. However, you’re only 40 minutes from the Hobart CBD and 10 minutes to Kettering, where you can board the ferry and explore Bruny Island. Woodbridge itself has a charming café with homemade baked good and pies, as well as a corner shop for the essentials.
You can take the road to Huonville from Oyster Cove to access Tasmania’s Deep South, one of the most beautiful locations on Earth. Picture snow capped mountains, rainforest, age-old caves, charming coastal towns, and beaches with sand so white that it hurts your eyes.
This property is perfect for families wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. This property is peaceful, tranquil, and perfect for your family getaway.
Please note, due to the proximity of the property to the waters edge and several steep drops around the property, children will need to be supervised at all times when on the grounds.

Gorgeous 3 Bedroom House - Birchs Bay

Blissful Birchs Bay was the perfect base for exploring southern Tasmania. We were welcomed by a warm, cosy home that immediately felt inviting. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped for families. The views were beautiful, the beach was right at our doorstep, and we loved spending time watching the birds and wildlife. Our kids especially enjoyed exploring outside and playing the board games provided during the rainy weather. The hosts were incredibly helpful, with excellent communication and a detailed guide full of local recommendations that really enhanced our trip. We left feeling relaxed and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!
