Lovely, fully refurbished, two bedroom cottage on the Isle of Jura. Situated in the heart of Craighouse, with views over Small Isles Bay; Lorne Cottage is a short stroll to Jura's only whisky distillery, rum distillery, hotel, community store, cafe and pub!

Lorne Cottage, Isle of Jura

A fairytale location, awesome views, comfy beds and lots of hot water readily on tap there, for coping after sea swimming outside the door every day. A retreat like no other. Thank you Lorne Cottage and the locals for the comfort and friendliness. Stuart and his Bike Hire business was so helpful and nice. And Garlochhead Coaches drivers had good craic. Joni ran safely alongside the bikes, loving the stretch we did. Shattered by bedtime.

Fairytale Location

Five of us stayed for 2 nights, and it was fabulous. The care that has been taken to ensure that guests have everything they need was second to none - including brilliant information about the house itself, and the island. Very lucky to have had the opportunity to stay here (and the sun shone too, which was real bonus!)

Fabulous

Our 3rd stay and once again, this cozy cottage continues to provide the best accommodation on the island in my opinion! Peaceful, warm, all modern appliances, the best shower, huge bath. Comfy bed’s & spotlessly clean. Thanks again Lorne Cottage🥰

It's a long way depuis notre Bretagne et notre île bien-aimée, Belle-île en mer !

Une pépite !

Our stay at Lorne Cottage was just what we all needed! Complete peace and quiet. We explored the island and got to see the most amazing wildlife and scenery. We even got to swim with a local otter in front of the cottage! The cottage is comfortable and well equipped and was perfect for us. My only criticism is that we really could have done with a washing machine. After a week of being in and out of the sea and the lovely hot weather, a washer would have helped enormously. Other than that - absolutely perfect, and we would definitely book again. 😁

Peace
