Upstairs, two beautifully designed double bedrooms promise a restful night’s sleep. Outside, a private courtyard provides an ideal spot to relax during the warmer months. Primrose Cottage is perfect for couples, friends, families, or extended stays.
One dog per booking is welcome to stay, subject to a pet fee (£30), please let us know at the time of booking. A parking space is available just a 5 minute walk away - please book in advance.
ID verification & damage deposit - As the stay is fully contactless, we are partnered with Truvi - they will contact you after booking to verify your ID and collect a non-refundable £10 damage protection fee, which authorises us to claim up to £500 in the event of any damages. Please complete this promptly to ensure a smooth check-in.
Please note - as with many Georgian properties, the stairs are steep and narrow, and the cottage is therefore not suitable for those with mobility issues. Additionally, due to the cottage's layout, doorways vary in size, so large pushchairs may have difficulty fitting.

Primrose Cottage

We loved everything about Primrose Cottage. It was clean, beautifully furnished and very peaceful. Dedicated parking space was a real bonus. Our dog Freddy loved his stay too! X 🐶🐾

Superb accommodation

We had such a lovely stay at Primrose Cottage. The cottage is beautifully decorated and felt cosy from the moment we arrived. Having our morning coffee in the courtyard was a real highlight, as was the parking space! The location couldn't have been better - quiet but within easy walking distance of everything. We'd happily stay again!

The cottage is absolutely gorgeous. Decorated uniquely and tastefully with a charm you simply can't find on Airbnb. The location is perfect, not too central, not too far from the centre either. The hosts are respectful, helpful, responsive and communicative. This is our second stay here for a small birthday celebration and we hope to return for a third time next year. This place is perfect.
