Saltmarsh Ledge

This place is pure magic. Beautiful marsh lands, open waters, so many birds serenading aflight in a magnificent sky. This daily, colored in swirls of blues and greens infused at sunset with pinks and purples and bouncing off clouds and waters. Peaceful. Breathtaking.

And why not pick up a kayak and cruise down the quiet stunning waterways- all the way to the Saltwater Vineyard for a beautiful picnic.

Biking around is superb. A few miles to Mystic or just around the Borough. Great food options all around but cooking meals at the house in the open kitchen staring out at the sunset is marvelous.

Can walk to fantastic yoga options including mornings on the beach.

Idyllic slice of heaven in a lovely house perched up atop on the ledge of the salt marsh.

Thank you!

This home is spectacular. It is like your favorite aunt and uncle gave you the keys to their island getaway home that they put their heart and soul into making unique. The grounds are breathtaking with the plantings and natural beauty. A bird lovers paradise especially if you kayak out to nearby Sandy Point Sanctuary. The home is very clean, comfy and well appointed. We loved everything and would love to return!

This home is spectacular

I had the most incredible time living and recording music at Salt Marsh Lodge this past winter. A dear friend and musician collaborator of mine came to visit during the great Nor'easter of 2022. We cooked in the exquisite sun-drenched kitchen, took walks by the marsh toward Elihu Island, and even went cross country skiing in the backyard! The home was hands down the most beautiful, artistically inspiring space I have ever stayed in. Natalie, the owner, was incredibly supportive, attentive if ever I needed to reach out, and excited to have artists in her home. I hope the space is filled with future guests and residencies that benefit from this awe-inspiring gem in New England!
