The Alpine Ridge Lakefront Luxury Residence

Review: Alpine Ridge, Percy Lake, Ontario, Canada
I stayed at Alpine Ridge, and it is without question one of the most thoughtfully curated places I’ve ever experienced. The house itself is luxurious and beautifully designed, set in a truly stunning natural location — but what elevates Alpine Ridge far beyond simply being a beautiful property is the attention to detail in every aspect of the space.
From the moment you arrive, it’s clear that everything has been carefully considered. The kitchen, utensils, furnishings, and facilities are all of an exceptionally high standard. The outdoor sauna, private dock, kayaks, fire pit, multiple sitting areas, and the beautifully prepared bedrooms all contribute to an experience that feels both indulgent and deeply calming. Even the smaller touches — such as the essential oils in the bathrooms — reflect a level of care and intention that is rare to find.
I’ve been involved in meditation since my early teens, and the moment I walked into Alpine Ridge, I could sense that this was more than just a holiday home. From the layout, the flow of the rooms, and the way everything is arranged, it’s clear this is a space intentionally designed as a spiritual retreat within a home. It supports connection — with yourself, with the people you’re sharing it with, and with the surrounding natural world.
The setting invites presence. Whether sitting quietly by the lake, using the sauna, gathering around the fire pit, or simply spending time indoors together, the environment naturally draws you into a slower, more conscious way of being. For me, this space made it possible to reconnect deeply with family members I hadn’t seen in a long time, having travelled all the way from England for this stay. The house and its surroundings genuinely enhanced that sense of connection and shared experience.
I feel immense gratitude to the owner for creating and curating such a special environment. Alpine Ridge isn’t just a place to stay — it’s an experience that allows rest, reconnection, and presence to unfold naturally. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough to anyone seeking something truly special.

A spiritual retreat deserving 10 stars

The drive to the cottage itself was stunning, and as we approached, the lakeside views were impressive. Then we stepped inside and were wowed all over again. We were a group of six, all well-traveled, and every single one of us was blown away by the design. Each room had its own WOW factor.

The kitchen is truly high-end and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The large island made cooking a dream. Everywhere you look, the décor is a feast for the eyes, yet everything is incredibly comfortable — from the kitchen stools to the dining chairs, to the luxurious linens and beds.
The extra touches, from luxury hand creams to aromatherapy sprays in the shower and sauna, made us feel like royalty. And the sauna, with its glass wall overlooking the lake, feels like something from a high-end spa.

The owners clearly take great pride in sharing this beautiful property and ensuring guests enjoy five-star amenities. If you’re looking for a luxury retreat in a peaceful setting with 360-degree views, this is it. We truly appreciated the thoughtful care and responsiveness throughout our stay — thank you again. And many thanks to the cleaning team; the cottage was spotless upon arrival.

Absolutely stunning place!

Our stay at The Alpine Ridge was absolutely perfect. The setting was peaceful and beautiful, with every detail so thoughtfully put together. The interiors were spotless, stylish, and incredibly cozy—just what you want for a relaxing, fun, serene escape.

The hosts truly thought of everything. Every amenity we could possibly need was provided—nothing was missing. From the fully equipped kitchen to the cozy touches throughout the home, it all felt welcoming and cared for.

The three firepits around the property were a fantastic bonus—each one offered a different view and vibe, perfect for evenings under the stars. The Sauna was an unexpected surprise that made the stay feel like a spa.
The outdoor activities provided (paddle-board, kayaks, fuzzball table) Kept the kids entertained & experienced nature at its best.
The whole experience exceeded our expectations. We’re already looking forward to coming back - fall, spring summer - i think any season would be a perfect stay at The Alpine Ridge on Percy Lake.

Luxurious Haven

I visited The Alpine Ridge with one of my best friends to relax, slow down and focus on wellness for the weekend. The house is as dreamy as can be and every single little detail is designed to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Everything from the design & decor of the house down to the shampoos, soaps, ecalyptus in the showers and bedding/towels was perfectly curated to offer the most luxurious hotel like stay I’ve ever experienced in an Airbnb! I highly recommend The Alpine Ridge to anyone looking for a beautiful stay fully immersed in nature but with modern luxuries that perfectly blend lakeside nature & luxury ❤️ we will be back!

What a magical stay and experience✨

We visited The Alpine Ridge this past weekend and we were blown away by the property, the amenities and how luxurious and beautiful it was! We’ve never been to an airbnb with luxuries comparable to a hotel - nothing was spared while designing and outfitting this cottage from the beds, to the linen, to the furniture, to the spa like additions in all of the washrooms. If you’re looking for a luxurious stay surrounded by incredible untouched nature and wildlife you will absolutely love visiting
