Ty Twt

We had a wonderful stay at Wildernest. We escaped our busy, city life to spend a cosy few days in rural Wales at the start of the year. Hugh & Jude have created a perfect little getaway, the space is beautifully designed with lots of thoughtful touches. The scenery around was beautiful - you feel very close to nature. Hugh & Jude were lovely hosts and recommended some nice walks and places to visit. Walking, exploring, and relaxing in the cottage was just what we needed. We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends.

Walking, exploring and relaxing...

Idyllic! Ty Twt is a lovely place to stay. The moment you walk through the door you instantly feel at home, it’s the perfect getaway. The house is artfully crafted and decorated, it's beautifully furnished, sparkly clean, cosy and very well equipped! Roaming around on the property reveals many nice surprises, from the animals to little meadows and the annex next door and there is lots to do nearby …but I just wanted to kick back at the house and relax … Jude and Hugh are lovely hosts, thank you again for your hospitality and for sharing your lovely house with us! We look forward to returning ☺

Idyllic!

Peace, quiet, cosy, relaxing. Stunning cottage with amazing log burner. Location is full of nature with a gorgeous bird feeder outside front window so u can watch the birds up close. Beds are so comfortable and cottage so clean and beautifully designed and decorated. Will be back.

Peace,quiet, cosy.relaxing.

We stayed at Hugh’s place for 3 nights during October and had such a lovely relaxing time! Everything was so beautiful and the cottage is wonderfully warm even before you use the log burner! Do not hesitate to book!

Everything was so beautiful.

It was a relatively late decision to have a relaxing break to "get away from it all" and I'm glad we decided to spend it at Ty Twt! It was exactly what we were after. A secluded rural location where we could spend some quality time together as a family. Our days were spent rising early, pottering about the cottage, admiring the oak door latches (you'll see) walking the grounds, venturing out to local beaches, walking the cliff tops (in the wind and rain, from Penbryn to Llangrannog with my daughter on my back! It was an enjoyable challenge!), returning for an evening meal and retiring to the sofa for quite chats whilst our daughter slept upstairs. Although it wasn't a necessity, we couldn't resist lighting the stove for added comfort too! Hugh and Jude made our arrival quick and easy. I was relieved and thankful for the loan of Jude's coffee grinder too after forgetting mine. It was probably the coffee that got me up the Penbryn cliffs! There are many other enjoyable treats around the cottage but I won't spoil the surprise... but owls and chickens outside the window are one. And of course, the dolphins in Cardigan Bay. We highly recommend. We hope to go back one day, even if to relax even more! Thanks again! Ben, Laura & Eilidh
