Ty Y Mor

What a find! A beautiful house in a great location within Aberporth. An easy 5 minute walk to the beach or the park (overlooking the beach) and just a friendly relaxed vibe about the whole place. The house itself was light, airy, spacious and beautifully appointed. We enjoyed drinks on the patio each evening in the sunshine and cooked some great meals in the well equipped kitchen. One highlight of the visit was our teenage boys renting SUP boards and seeing dolphins at play near the headland. Incredible! Aberporth is just such a great find with lovely sandy beaches and stunning sunsets - what's not to like! Thanks also See and Slate for great comms.

Wonderful!

Lovely property in beautiful Aber-Porth.
Quirky decor added to the experience.
Secure for dogs and great walks too.
Watching the Boxing Day swim was fun.
The Ship is a great pub and the Golden Dragon is a fab chinese/chippy.
Cardigan, Poppit Sands and New Quay are great day trips.
Aberystwyth - not so much!

This was our first visit to this part of Wales and unfortunately we chose a week of pretty wet and wild weather! However, if anything, this made our stay at Ty y Mor all the better as we were able to return home after battling against the wind and rain to this wonderful house. Light the log burner, pour a glass of wine and take in the fabulous surroundings. A relaxed beach house with all the home comforts. A light and spacious living room, stunning open plan kitchen diner and cosy bedrooms. Fabulously showers and bath. Everything you need in the kitchen to cook a gourmet meal for 10 if you so wished. But what makes this house so special to stay in is the feeling that it is someone’s home and you are trusted to look after it during your stay, browsing the many books and picking up design tips as you go! Some days we really didn’t want to go out. We have stayed in many locations, in many hotels and self catering places (ex travel business). Ty y Mor has to be one of the best.
