Sea Salt is a Gulf-front home that first welcomed guests in June 2020.  The lot is situated on the northern end of Cape San Blas in the new Monarch Beach development.  This Gulf-front home overlooks natural dunes and scrub and has an unobstructed view of the ocean.  Among its many features are a private salt-water pool, elevator, 2 refrigerators (and two mini), and beach access available only to guests of Monarch Beach.  Beach towels (8) and beach chairs included (10-14).  Other amenities are listed below.  Our rental week runs Saturday to Saturday.
We hope to welcome your family here soon!
**Please note: some of the photos were taken before we installed window treatments -- Sea Salt is fully dressed now! A photo shoot to update the gallery is on the horizon.....

Sea Salt, Cape San Blas

This was our 4th time staying at this beautiful beach home. We look forward to our time here all year long! Sea Salt is a much needed escape from our everyday hustle. The sound of the waves, the fresh sea air, beautiful sunsets, and powder white sand in our toes is so good for both body and soul! The Cape is so laid back and feels like a “best kept secret”. Absent are the crowds and commercial high rise buildings. If you are looking to share the beach with lots of other vacationers, this is not the place for you. And this is just the location.
Sea Salt is spacious and comfortable with a “Coastal Living” vibe. We love the huge dining table and open kitchen/living room with great views of the beach. Sitting on the deck in the Adirondack chairs watching the sunset never gets old! The elevator is such a lifesaver for bringing in all of our luggage and for getting groceries. The private pool is wonderful, especially after a full day on the beach and maybe just a little too much sun. We are perfectly happy most days just relaxing and “staying put”. If we do get a little restless, Apalachicola is a fun little town to visit just a short drive away. Port St Joe is also nice for shopping and eating out. Our favorite local hangout on the cape is the Scallop Republic . Great live music and local beer on tap.
We had such a fun and relaxing week enjoying our family, the beach and this awesome house! Thank you Rebecca for sharing your home with us! Only 353 days until we return! But who’s counting right?😂

Sea Salt Therapy: Sun, Sand and True Sanctuary

This was our second year staying here! We had 3 families with young kids in the home and there was plenty of space for everyone to have a great time. The home is very comfortable w/ a lot of space in the kitchen, living room, and dining room. We love being able to use the pool and being right on the beach is very helpful with all the kids. We will be back!

The Perfect Vacation Spot on CSB

This home was perfect for our family group of 8 adults and 4 kids and dog- everyone had their own space (and bathroom!) The kitchen is a LOT bigger than the photos look like. The massive table was great for all of us to sit down and eat together! We cooked every meal at the house and did not lack for anything. The elevator was great for luggage and groceries - the pool was vry refreshing to cool off in. Beach supply closet was packed with lots of chairs and toys that we used. There are 20 stairs to to up to get to the beach, so if you have a beach buggy will be difficult. Other than that I'd give it an A+

Fantastic Home

This makes our 4th year staying at Sea Salt and we won't stay anywhere else. 3 couples rent every year and all of our kids cycle through when they can. Plenty of room for everyone. The upstairs is fabulous for our big groups whether for eating all together or playing games. The top deck is the prime location for coffee in the morning. We dolphin watch just about every morning. The bedrooms a large, plenty of room to unpack and enjoy the week. The elevator is God send & back saver for all the food we bring. The house odds stocked with anything you could possibly need or forgot to bring. We love this house because of the memories we make, the closeness to PSJ, restaurants and groceries. It just doesn't get any better than this!!
Working with the owner is the easiest of anywhere we've ever rented. She's always available for questions or suggestions and has literally become a great friend. Loyal rebookers for life!!

Best House on the Cape

We rented Sea Salt for Spring Break 2025 with one other family and had a great trip. We had a total of 4 adults and 7 kids and we had room to spare. The house had everything you could need and the owners did a great job communicating with regard to both arrival and departure.
