Serene Dream - Oceanfront with a Gorgeous Views

This version keeps it personal, enthusiastic, and accurate:

This was my second trip to Bonaire and my second stay in the Port Bonaire community, but my first time in this particular apartment and it made the trip even more special. The view was absolutely beautiful, and I especially loved being on the ground floor. It made everything so convenient, whether we were heading to the car, walking to the beach, or simply coming and going throughout the day.

Port Bonaire is an ideal location. It is close to downtown, the casino, many wonderful restaurants, and several of the island’s best snorkeling sites, while still being convenient for exploring the beautiful western side of Bonaire.

The apartment truly felt like a temporary home away from home. Greg & Suzette provided everything we needed, and the kitchen was so well equipped that I even cooked several meals during our stay. I also arranged for a private chef from Chef to Bonaire to prepare dinner in the apartment, and it turned into a wonderful fine-dining experience in the comfort of our own space.

The towels were incredibly fluffy and soft—some of the softest I have ever used—and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Every detail made the apartment feel welcoming, relaxing, and thoughtfully prepared.

We also enjoyed being close to so many excellent restaurants, including Capriccio, the Dock, Sebastian’s, and Blooz. I loved spending a relaxing day at Oasis Beach Club, and Foodies near Sorobon remains one of my favorite restaurants on the island. I also love popping over 8 mins drive away to Divi Casino for quick blackjack game prior to turn in if the mood strikes.

Greg & Suzette were truly wonderful hosts who went out of their way to make our stay special. Bonaire is a paradise I know I will return to, and I would be very happy to stay in this beautiful apartment again.

Serene indeed!

We stayed at Serene Dream in late March into early April and had a wonderful vacation. We were there to dive, and dive we did. The apartment is located right at the Port of Bonaire and right next to Dive Friends. The complex was quiet, well-maintained, and had a quick exit to downtown and dive sites.

Literally right across from the airport, but noise was not an issue at all. Great ocean views and views of Kralendijk. Right next to Te Amo beach as well, with the Stoked food truck, which was great!

Greg and Suzette were very responsive and helped us out of a jam that we caused. It was very much appreciated.

We saw a review or two about the electricity issues, but the mini-splits cooled the apartment down very quickly, and we often let the sea breeze do its magic.

We would definitely go back.

Location Location Location

We absolutely adored this place! The complex is well kept and was super quiet. Neighbors were all friendly and kind. Pool was a great amenity to enjoy after days spent snorkeling in the salty ocean. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Other tenants have left behind seasonings so the kitchen is extra well stocked. The ac worked really well. They also provided small bottles of shampoo / conditioner / body wash / soap. Bed was in good shape and was fairly firm, my husband slept really well on it! The gate for the beach next door was excellent, as well as the opportunity to eat at the food truck on multiple nights. We loved the back patio to watch boats and see turtles in the water. Excellent communication from the hosts, ensuring we had the information we needed to access the various gates / items around the house. This is truly a gem, and we can't wait to return.

A Little Slice of Paradise

Location is great and so is the unit. It is well appointed, comfortable and convenient. We had a wonderful stay.

Serene Dream is a wonderful accommodation
