THE PROPERTY
The 1,500-square-foot rec room is sure to be the centerpiece of your stay.  Boasting an indoor hot tub a sauna, two 75-inch flat-screen Smart TVs, a pool table, air hockey table, foosball table, ping pong table, dartboard, and cozy fire-warmed whiskey bar, the rec room rivals even the most high-end pub or arcade.
Prefer relaxation to competition?  Grab your favorite book and relax in front of the sitting room's gas fireplace until the dinner bell rings. 
No matter what you choose to whip up in the fully equipped kitchen, you'll feel like Carol Brady (Alice) as you prepare a 5-star feast for your travel companions. 
When it is time to hit the hay, enjoy 70's themed serenity in one of the 8 bedrooms representing the popular TV shows of the era, like Charlie's Angels, The Partridge Family, Marsha Brady, Laugh-in, 007, Mission Impossible, Star Trek, I Dream of Jeannie. Plus additional sleeping accommodations in the Tiny Ranch House's loft Queen bed and a full-size bed pull-out couch . 
Situated on 10 pristine acres, this home offers fun both inside and out.  Whether you choose to roast marshmallows over the wood-burning fire pit, marvel at the views of the Boardman River Valley, or stretch your legs on the 1/2 mile trail around the property, you're sure to make memories under the Michigan sun.  For even more outdoor fun, take advantage of the provided outdoor games such as cornhole, ring toss, basketball, and much more! 
Early Check-in / Late Check-out Requests are not possible.
We recognize that our guests often want to request early arrival or later check-outs. While we really try to say yes to our guest requests, this is the one request that we cannot accommodate. We strive to have our homes in perfect order for your arrival and that is a monumental task for our cleaning & maintenance crews to attain in the amount of time allotted. Having guests arrive earlier or stay later adds additional pressure to an already tight timeline. We appreciate your understanding and suggest that if you would like time as the contracting Guest to do your own preparations, that you ask your guests to arrive at a time later than 4pm. We also have a list of suggestions for things to do if you need to occupy your group until the 4pm or later check-in time. 
BASIC HOUSE RULES 
Vacation Rental Agreement signature required upon confirmation, contain full House Rules. 
No smoking/No burning candles. 
No pet allowed.
No events, parties, or large gatherings.
Must be at least 25 years old to book.
Photo ID may be required upon check-in.
NOTE: Your safety matters. Exterior security cameras are located at the exterior doors and parking area, facing out. The cameras do not look into any interior spaces.

70's Lodge | Traverse City Large Group Private Spa Retreat

My family spent our second wonderful time at the 70s Lodge.  There were 26 of us ranging in age from infants to great grandparents.  Dan and Lisa are wonderful hosts, responding quickly to questions.  The pool is perfect for the younger children and the adults and the game room kept the teens entertained.  We will be back!

2nd Wonderful Stay!

This place is by far traverse Cities best kept secret. I have had the honor of staying at least once per year. We have enjoyed my children's birthdays there (1 yrs and 16 years old). We have had family get togethers, employee hang outs and just plain family fun. If you have not stayed here yet, add it to your bucket list now. Guests of all ages have plenty to do, even in the winter! I highly recommend this place!

Stay frequently

We have brought our work team to the 1970’s resort home for the past three years (always in September after our busy season).  We love the resort style amenities and all the extras Dan and his team provide.  The aquatic center, adjoining bar and recreation room, the game room, two hots tubs and sauna as well as an outdoor cookout were all experienced this last visit. Our team has the option to choose to go wherever they want (including out of state) and continues to want to come back to the 1970’s house.  We have a pre-party to “draw” rooms.  This experience is wonderful and Dan is the host with the most!  Highly recommend this experience for families, groups of friends or corporate retreat….you never have to leave the property

Exceeds Expectations Again

We had a group of 25 for a bachelorette party at the 70s lodge and we had an absolute blast. the house is incredible - if you think the pictures are cool, just wait until you see it in person. the house was very clean and well stocked and the property overall was perfect. The beds (and couches) were all comfortable - and we appreciated that we didn't need to strip all of the sheets for a 10a checkout. There were plenty of bath and pool towels to go around and soooo many games and activities  to keep the group busy throughout our stay. we only had 1 minor issue with the oven in the tiny house but the hosts were incredibly responsive and came out immediately to fix the issue. If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would. Highly recommend and hope to come back soon!
