<div><br></div><div>Wake up on your own island. The Sitka Lighthouse sits on a one-acre island in Sitka Sound, a five-minute water taxi ride from Crescent Harbor in downtown Sitka. When you want to stay put there’s a hot tub, a fire pit, and a grill with the channel right in front of you.</div><div><br></div><div>The kitchen is fully equipped. The bedrooms are built for deep sleep after long days outside. Sitka Lighthouse, Private Luxury in Alaska.

Our week at the Sitka Lighthouse was beautiful! My husband and I came to Sitka for world-class fishing and were not disappointed. Our guide picked us up right at our dock. The Lighthouse was relaxing and peaceful after a day of reeling in those salmon. You have the whole little island to yourself. We especially liked the hot tub. And the views, oh my! Three hundred sixty degrees of natural beauty. The owner, Teal, was great, going above and beyond and attending to our every request. If you want something private and a little different, treat yourself to the Lighthouse. You will delighted with your experience!

Delighted!

There are no words to describe how amazing it is to stay at this place; it is so beautiful, the views are just so unique, and there is total relaxation; you are on your little island with just amazing views all around you and eagles right there in the backyard, otters swimming right in front every day, we even got to see the Northern Lights one night from the lighthouse, it was such a fantastic vacation, teal was so incredible and helpful throughout our stay, she is the best, will go back.

So Awesome!

I just got home last night from 3 days/2 nights at the lighthouse. It's one of my
best weekend getaways to date! The lighthouse is
over-the-top. The house is decorated like something you would see in a
magazine. The amenities are far too many to list. Teal, the owner, has
thought of everything. The weather was gorgeous. We hot tubbed,
barbecued, kayaked, took the boat into town, and watched seals, sea
lions, and Dall porpoises; there was an eagle nest right next to the
lighthouse, which we watched all weekend. It was indeed a fantastic
getaway. In fact, on the way to the airport, I contacted the owner and
booked it for three nights next year.

Re-booked For Next Year!

Experience of a lifetime! The lighthouse was amazing! It was exactly as described/pictured. It was beautiful, clean, with a well-stocked kitchen and pantry. The BBQ, fire pit, porch swing, and hot tub were all fantastic touches that made it a wonderful experience. Teal met us and showed us around when we checked in and was readily available during our entire stay for questions. The water taxi was great and made it super easy to get to the lighthouse with all of our groceries when we arrived and took us back for our flight home. Having the boat to use to go back and forth to town made it super easy to get to town for activities and meals out. It was a short beautiful ride into town on the skiff, we were there long enough to be able to use the water taxi for a trip into town, but the boat was so convenient that we didn’t even use the water taxi for anything other than when we arrived and left. There are steep and narrow staircases, it is a lighthouse, it was totally doable and comfortable, but if you have mobility issues this may not be a great fit. The scenery around the lighthouse is phenomenal; the ocean, bald eagles flying around, sea lions, tide pools, trees, and thoughtfully planted flowers. It was all breathtaking. The perfect place for a relaxing getaway and to unplug. Sitka is a great town with lots of things to do and the people were all so kind and helpful. The lighthouse has kayaks, a hot tub, fire pit, books, movies, games, tide pools, amazing scenery, and a porch swing for coffee drinking...lots of great things to do right there. The lighthouse allows you to be in town easily when you would like to be and be in a quiet paradise when you would like to be. I honestly can’t say enough about it...we had a magical time and highly recommend this special experience.
