Ideal

Hacienda Babina is a very special place for two reasons. I will mention both in this comment. First, usually  when people put the comment, we describe the facilities, house, location ... And yes, all that was perfect. The hosue is very comfortable, all furniture new, spotless clean, the location perfect, all in all... like paradise. But I would like to mention the second reason which is even more important -  the attitude of the owners. I've travelled all around the world with my family, we have seen lots of places, and we are once a year in Croatia too, but we have never ever met people like  Zac and his family. This family is so caring, so special, so incredibly good, that I simply feel the it should be told in the comment. As we came in February when usually it's not time for travelling to Cres, Zac heated the house and every single day he asked us if the temperature is good, if we need something, what we need, where we would like to go, he sent us maps for the walking routes, schedules for ferries, other kind of information. Oh, yes... I shall not forget, he welcomed us with a fantastic Cres prosciutto and sausauges and two bottles of wine; red and white. Again, the place is fantastic, the house is gorgeous, we could not found even the smallest thing to complain about, but the caring attitude of this family is really a speciality of the house. We can find a piece of luxury everywhere, but to find a luxury of such a good people as Zac family, this is really something. We will surely return. Thanks for all!

Great holiday home

Amazing place. Love the location and the house. Very quiet. Hosts have made a place very comfortable with a lot of attention to detail. Talked with host Lana on the phone and she made everything seamless. Her mother-in-law let us in immediately upon arrival. Very sweet lady. Lana gave us lots of great tips for things to see and places to go. Really went above and beyond helpful. Beds very comfortable and we are particular about our beds! Love the little beach spot I found down the road. One of my most peaceful and nicest stays of a month long trip in Croatia and Slovenia. Can I live here?!
