Escape to the mountains and discover the laid-back charm of Sky Hammock Lodge.
A family-friendly retreat in the peaceful community of Green Valley Lake, the town with the highest elevation in the San Bernardino Mountains at 7,000+ feet. Surrounded by towering pines and sweeping mountain views, Sky Hammock Lodge is designed for slowing down, reconnecting, and enjoying the outdoors together.
Meet the Sky Hammock. This is the one you'll be posting about. Our one-of-a-kind outdoor sky hammock is big enough for a full house group of 8 to pile on together, suspended among the pines with nothing but mountains, clouds, and open sky around you. Bring your morning coffee, stretch out for an afternoon nap, or gather everyone for sunset and stargazing. It feels like floating above the pines, and it's the reason we named the cabin Sky Hammock Lodge. You won't find anything like it anywhere else in the mountains.
Made for gathering. The main floor is one big open space where the family room, kitchen, and dining table all flow together, so the cook is never left out of the conversation. Cozy up by the wood-burning fireplace, catch a movie on the TV, or linger over dinner with the people you came to see. Step out onto the deck for mountain views and fire up the natural gas BBQ. No propane runs, no hassle, just grill and enjoy.
The game room steals the show. Downstairs is the ultimate hangout:

Foosball table and electronic dart board for friendly (or not so friendly) competition

Large screen TV for game day or movie night

A bar with its own full-size refrigerator and freezer, so drinks and snacks stay close

A fireplace for warm, cozy nights

A dedicated full bathroom, so nobody has to run upstairs

Direct access to a large deck with cornhole and jaw-dropping views of the mountains, clouds, trees, and sunsets

It's the kind of space where the kids take over the foosball table while the grown-ups claim the bar, and everyone ends up on the deck for sunset.
Unwind at your own pace. Sleep in, read in the fresh mountain air, or just watch the light change across the ridgeline from the sky hammock. No traffic, no crowds, no agenda.
Or go as big as you want. Adventure is right outside the door:

Hiking: Pine-shaded trails start just minutes away, from easy family walks to longer climbs with big views.

Mountain biking: Forest roads and singletrack wind through the surrounding national forest.

Fishing & paddling: Green Valley Lake is a short stroll or drive away. Cast a line, rent a boat in summer, or let the kids splash at the beach.

Skiing & snowboarding: Snow Valley is just down the road, and Big Bear's resorts are an easy drive for a full day on the slopes.

Snow days: Sledding, snowball fights, and fireside nights in when the pines are dusted white.

Explore the mountain towns. Lake Arrowhead Village and Big Bear Lake are both within easy reach for shopping, dining, and lakeside strolls, then you get to retreat back to the quiet.
Every season is a good season. Cool summer days that beat the SoCal heat, golden fall afternoons, snowy winter weekends, and wildflower springs.
Whether your perfect getaway is a hammock and a good book, a game room showdown, or a packed itinerary of trails and slopes, Sky Hammock Lodge is your home base. Book your mountain escape today.
